Back, and to the left |
This I'll never forget. My first year of peewee football, I was an offensive guard. We received a mimeographed playbook with something like 12-15 plays. Two plays in there had me as a 'pulling' guard. I had never heard of this. Before the first game, I wanted to be sure I could remember which plays and what to do so I tore it out and stuffed it under the belt of my pants in the appendix position. Once we got into the game, after warming up and stretches, I dug it outta there and discovered it had become a giant purplish piece of illegibility. I eventually did remember and the play went off without any real trouble.

yes - Treasure Island Elementary School in the early 60's. mimeographed tests, handouts etc. Ooo Ooo that smell! Minor sidetrack, remember the slimy paper that fax machines used in the 80's. Someone in my law firm made the mistake of having a faxed copy of a contract signed as the original. A few years later I had to dig it out for some reason and it was blank.....except for the signature. All the text had faded away to nothing.
