Well, all we need now is a destination. If Diesel Boy is headed north we can have his bag packed pretty quick. Smile

I'm happy to contribute some gas money to help get this guy to a good home.

Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice - pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

I wish I could take him in, but I have a 15 year old Lab that would kill himself trying to keep up with a younger dog. I will kick in some gas money, though. Just let me know who to send it to.

Aw, he looks like my late Ness, but fatter. Makes me happy and sad at the same time.

I hope he gets a good home...

Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

No doubt! He looks like a good pup but he also looks like he's had a tough time somewhere along the way. He just needs a little love and TLC and I've no doubt he'll be fine. That's the thing about dogs...they give back way more than they receive. I hope he finds a great home.

Rescue orgs want pups with papers and treatment records. Plus they want quite a bit to adopt which puts a non-papered pup at a disadvantage. One guy expressed interest, but has no fenced yard.
He’s still lookin’ for a home.

My nephew and his son would love to see Diesel go to a good rural home to be a farmer or rancher’s best friend. I saw the dog this morning. He barked to announce my arrival then wouldn’t let me get out of the car until he got some head pats and his ears scratched. He is now up to date on all the shots he needs and the vet says he doesn’t have a heart worm problem. I couldn’t get Diesel to go in the house with me so he has never been a house dog. The only marks I see on him are a couple of small marks a territorial pit bull put on his muzzle. They are still visible, but seem to be clearing up nicely. Someone is going to get a good easy going friendly dog. We just don’t yet know who that will be.

My apologies for being away from this thread for a few days, but I’ve been working every angle I can think of in the DFW area to see if anyone up here is interested.
