Costco has it? That may be the tie breaker for now. Need to make a trip today anyway - don't need to search for a shop that carries all the other suggestions.

This. They have two version at Costco based on alcohol content due to state laws. We have the lower, 13% I think, can’t get the higher % locally. Its very tasty and I think $14.

The Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream is the only cream liqueur I drink with any regularity. Jim Beam makes one too which is okay, but not as good.

I don’t have a ton of experience with cream liqueurs though, I’ve had some of the Bailey’s varieties but I usually only drink the stuff around the holidays. My taste for BTBC is likely heavily influenced by the fact that Bourbon is only liquor I drink straight, and probably makes up 99% of my alcohol intake.

The wife and I prefer Carolans, with St. Brendans coming in second. Five Farms is good, but like Baileys, not worth the price relative to the others IMHO.

THIS Right here! 'bald1' beat me to it, and now I don't have to chase down a JPG of St. Brendan's. Wink It's our go-to Irish Cream and preferred to all others!

We stock up on BT Bourbon Cream every time we are down there, fortunately we are able to know get it locally. The kids usually wipe us out when they are home, coffee and on ice cream. I always have a bottle or 3 or Irish Cream for coffee also.

^^^ I don't know, but having read about other Kirkland products, it would not surprise me to learn it was made in Bailey's factory.

From what I understand Kirkland's Irish Whiskey is made by the IDL conglomerate who also makes Jameson's, not that they're the same at all. No clue about the cream although there are two versions depending on what state Costco is selling in. The 17% ABV is the one to get as it uses Irish Whiskey whereas the lower ABV version probably uses a wine distillate. Look at the labels. Smile

Here's a vote for Sheridan's Liqueur. A little different, and a very distinctive bottle.
Can be a little hard to find... I usually picked up a few bottles in the duty-free shop.

I’m not a fan one way or the other regarding cream liquors but i’m following this thread closely just to hear the rest of the story on how you found out it was a good mix with root beer.
