This honestly doesn’t surprise me all that much. Despite what the BLM and Antifa types would have you believe, most black people want police trying to keep their neighborhoods safe. When I was covering a large protest as a bomb technician I had to go into the crowd a couple times to X-ray suspicious packages. The only people that got close to me were white hipster types. Every time I went out there were several black folks that told people to get back and give me space to work because I was trying to keep them safe. I’m fully of the belief that our current unrest is not a black vs. white thing like many media folks would have you believe. That officer, is right up there with the female officer who backed-out of the convenance store shooting in NYC or, the Berkeley officer who allowed the perp to get back into his vehicle.
