so, Ruth Bader Ginsburg dies and everyone is mourning her death. There is a great gnashing of teeth as people try to see what President Trump will do in a country divided by political animosity.
On the eve of the state funeral for Justice Ginsburg, a phone rings in the White House. A Secret Service agent wakes up an irritated President Trump who asks, "who the hell is calling in the middle of the night"
"It's Hilary Clinton, Mr. President"
"Oh....well, shit, why is she calling me?" The President takes the phone and says
"Hilary?"
"Yes Mr. President?"
"So why are you calling me so late?"
"Well, Mr. President, I know it is late, but the past few days, I've been pacing back and forth, trying to come to terms with what I should do to honor Justice Ginsburg"
"Well, that's very noble of you, Hilary"
"thank you, Mr, President. I just think it would be a great thing if we could show the rest of the country that we have moved past the whole Russia question, the elections and all that, just let bygones be bygones.
"Well, Secretary Clinton, that would be HUUUGE, what did you have in mind"?
"Mr. President, considering my background in politics and my previous career as a lawyer, I'd like offer to take Justice Ginburg's place."
"Hmmmm, well, Hilary, it's kind of late, but I promise you, first thing in the morning, I'll give the undertaker a call and see what we can do"
