Doesn't change much, in the grand scheme. She was going to croak sometime in the next 4 years anyway. And there is exactly zero chance that the Dems would allow a new appointee to be confirmed before January, and will do whatever is needed by hook or crook to drag it out.

So her replacement still hinges on the next election.
