If anyone really believes this will placate entitled masses, they are mistaken. The people behind the scenes are stirring the shit pot and right before midterms (not an accident). This will lead to more entitlement and cries for “reparations”… not to mention demands for other woke cities to follow suit. All by design to further divide the country, not unify or heal it.

Exactly. A number of companies are giving their employees the day off for Juneteenth. Of course, there's multiple paragraphs in company-wide emails explaining why, which includes buzzwords like: reflection, active listening, learning and equity.
I'm all in favor for more paid holidays, I know what Juneteenth is and the why however this is simply another contrived reason that's been spun out of various marketing and media departments.
