Exactly. A number of companies are giving their employees the day off for Juneteenth. Of course, there's multiple paragraphs in company-wide emails explaining why, which includes buzzwords like: reflection, active listening, learning and equity. I'm all in favor for more paid holidays, I know what Juneteenth is and the why however this is simply another contrived reason that's been spun out of various marketing and media departments. | |||
