I am truly sorry to hear that, especially at holiday time. I lost mine in '91 and I know how you must feel.

In Christmas' future, you will always think of him. By next year, I know you'll be thinking about it and hope you'll be reminded of all that you loved about him. Every Christmas, take a momemt to raise a glass (perhaps in a moment alone) think about him and know that he is in a better place. Then get back with your family and be the good man that I know he raised you to be.

Thanks everyone. This past Friday I helped get him to the car to go to the emergency room. When I came back home, I told my wife that I think that's the last time I'm going to see him. Guess I was right.
