You write very well. As someone spent who spent close to a decade studying a foreign language, you’re far more advanced than I ever was. Never would’ve noticed if you hadn’t brought it up.

Well, there’s the rub.
Spent a lifetime dedicated to polish my English skills but the fact remains that i have no one to speak with. Therefore, my my spoken English might sound a bit broken. Not exactly fluent, the way it sounds, not the wording.

Having my best written effort chewed and shat by the keyboard and speller functions drives me insane.

My phone’s language is English but i have Siri and other mic aware apps disabled but the phone itself. My wife has IG, FB, WA and some other stuff and we can’t have a conversation without all that shit flooding us with related advertising. Disgusting.

My brain works most of the time in English, rather than Spanish.

Worked all my life with computers and have the silly idea they are here to serve us, not the other way around . The whole portable phone industry has slowly enslaved us since day one.
Had you told a woman, thirty years ago, that she would use a computer every day for hours she would have think of you as a complete idiot.
Now you can take the “from my dead cold hands” poster and replace the handgun with a phone. Right?
