I've got family living out on the west side of Oahu. They said there was a few morons running rampant at Costco, otherwise, those that did react were more about breaking-out a cold-one. Their neighborhood has a bunch of ex-mil/gov so much of the reaction was more ho-hum, False alarm...can you believe this shit? reaction.

I live near a primary target.

Though a false alarm, it does make you think.

What was the last thing I said to family? Words of love or anger?

Why did I bother paying off my Visa bill?

Where would I go for shelter?

Have I been to confession lately?

Maybe that "bomb shelter" really would have been a good idea and a bargain at twice the price.

I can actually see how this can happen. Back in the 80's when I was in high school I was really into computers and used to hack into my school computer and change my grades (along with some of my buddies, for a fee of course!). One afternoon I got bored and tried hacking into NORAD....somehow I freeking got in and was able to see all kinds of crazy shit.

Unfortunately I fucked around where I shouldn't and almost started an international disaster. I'm not really supposed to talk about it (the government made me sign some crazy documents) but if not for the help of my hot girlfriend and a wacky scientist who used the name Joshua for all of his passwords, we'd be living in a very different world today!

Joshua: Shall we play a game?

David Lightman: Oh!

Jennifer: I think it missed him.

David Lightman: Yeah. Weird isn't it?

Jennifer: Yeah.

David Lightman: Love to. How about Global Thermonuclear War?

Joshua: Wouldn't you prefer a nice game of chess?

David Lightman: Later. Let's play Global Thermonuclear War.

Joshua: Fine.

Sounds like a good opportunity for Hawaiian contractors to sell some bomb shelters.
