Thanks! I'm afraid those are the only Tull songs I know, but I was working on Thick as a Brick for a while. Really hard!

I did see that news about him having that and disappointing. I hope he remains well enough to keep performing.

Another long time fan. Saw them perform at the Manley Field House, Syracuse University on April 16, 1972, as part of their "Thick as a Brick Tour." Simply amazing!

Yep. Ian Anderson is one of the great frontmen in R&R.

I like his music a lot but not so much his politics most namely his climate panic views.
Saw him recently in an interview with uber-lib Dan Rather on axs tv although Rather mostly stays away from political topics (smart move).
Anyway love those Jethro Tull covers and the original too.

I've always liked JT. The name was taken from an 18th century agriculturalist. Remember the 1988 Grammy Awards, where they won for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal performance?

Long time fan here and I saw Thick as a Brick tour in Louisville.

Saw them many times back during my belgian days, late 70s to mid 80s up and until their A tour. Eddie Jobson did his best to steal center stage and Martin Barre, embarrased, hid behind the speakers most of the show...

Saw the Burstin' Out Tour. The album is a permanent feature of my phone music folder.

Called it quits after Stormwatch but I still listen to the albums before that, minus A.

Most impressive! Always liked them from my youth to now. Was impressed at how you could incorporate a flute to a rock band

Saw them in Fort Lauderdale in the early 90's. I even liked their "Crest of a Knave" album.

Jethro is the name of the band, Ian Anderson is the front man (with the flute, acoustic guitar, etc.).

Nice job on Mother Goose, the only one I'm familiar with. Other than their hits like Aqualung, Locomotive Breath, etc., I didn't get into them.

I was at the same concert! Still in high school.

Another fan. Like/know the old stuff. Not very familiar with anything newer. Yes - flute is some impressive work.
