I looked at the article yesterday, but then saw that Energy Secretary Granholm was doing the announcement, and stopped reading. This isn't cold fusion. It's the regular kind. I hate offended people. They come in two flavours - huffy and whiny - and it's hard to know which is worst. I recently saw a video by someone who knows their stuff calculate a 1000 to 1 INefficiency ratio of this experiment, which includes the energy costs of generating the lasers energy and the research facility itself.
