While I am glad Lebron lost another final, professional basketball hasn't done it for me in a while. Between the referees throwing games, heavy emphasis on a few star players and no real competitive balance I don't even waste my time watching it anymore.

That said, friends of mine who still love the NBA share your excitement and joy about the Warriors winning another. Congratulations!

might as well make the all-star game the NBA finals since all of the league's best players get together and decide where they want to play so they can win a championship.

130 points in a basketball game? No thanks.

Between hockey and the nba games...BOTH are FINALLY OVER. THAT is my joy and happiness today.

I was So tired of having to listen to them night after night....as my wife switched back and forth between them.

Having been a huge basketball fan in the 80s and early 90s, I haven't watched a game in years. In fact, until last week, I had no idea who would be in the finals.

Nice hearing that Lebron folded. Aside from that, I have no interest in NBA, having watched it for years as a kid.

well he had 41 points in game 5 and averaged 33.6/12/10 for the series. Not sure I call that folding.

His team was pretty dead down the stretch last night, especially on defense. (Which is where Durant really earned his check.)

If you call being the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double in the finals (33.6 ppg, 12.0 rpg, 10.0 apg) "folding", then ok. Lebron was great in the finals, as was Kyrie Irving. They were just outgunned by a deeper team. (Oops, YellowJacket beat me to it.)

I grew up watching the Celtics. I am truly spoiled.

Ahh, Bird vs Magic. They ised to pass the ball and make plays.

I do miss that stuff.

I'm more psyched that it's over, than the Warriors winning. That being said, someone I work with is "in-love" with LeBron and hates the Warriors. That makes these finals much more satisfying.

Despite that, LeBron's performance was amazing.

It's nice to win a few after decades of bad players, bad coaching, bad owners, and bad luck. The Run TMC teams were never quite enough and what followed until recently was just bad.

As a Spurs fan I defaulted to cheering for the Warriors. LeBron was clearly determined not to lose. Kevin Love was not as effective as he should have been. The weakling of the Cavs was Korver. Korver stank on ice! He STUNK!

LeBron praised Coach Pop in an interview. Some are taking that as a hint that LeBron may join the Spurs. That would be awesome. No pesky income tax in Texas. The Spurs visit LA, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, OKC, Denver, Oakland, NO... Big money to be made for the West.
