I dunno... Maybe I've got a soft spot for bendable. I don't think he was necessarily being intentionally abrasive, hall monitor/mall cop "respect my authoritah"-style. Rather, I think he's just a gentle, simple soul. (I mean that in a non-derogatory way. Think "old guy in a small town" simple/uncomplicated, not "rides the short bus" simple.) He wants to help, and he thought he was helping. But he probably did get his feelings hurt a bit when he was mildly chastised, since he probably read too much into it due to his nature. | |||
