Funny you should mention that, I was just thinking about it today.

February 6, 2021, Mr. 'Bellum asked Mr. Bendable to back off a bit on being helpful to the administration.

bendable replied "Done," and has not posted anything since.

He had gotten into the habit of being real net-coppy. Annoyingly so.

Got called on it, and rather than take the hint, he apparently left.

I dunno... Maybe I've got a soft spot for bendable.

I don't think he was necessarily being intentionally abrasive, hall monitor/mall cop "respect my authoritah"-style.

Rather, I think he's just a gentle, simple soul. (I mean that in a non-derogatory way. Think "old guy in a small town" simple/uncomplicated, not "rides the short bus" simple.)

He wants to help, and he thought he was helping. But he probably did get his feelings hurt a bit when he was mildly chastised, since he probably read too much into it due to his nature.

I agree with this. I think he is indeed a gentle and kind soul.

I felt that recently people have been really harsh to bendable.

I'm glad you're still around, sir!
