Week 1: Boise State

Boise State being my alma mater, I'm pulling for you. But I'm going with a less risky choice (OSU was much improved last year and should continue that this year, plus the game is in Corvallis - the only reason I won't be AT the game is because I have a weekend-long shooting event to attend).

They’re playing Central Connecticut State next week so I hope so.

What the hell, week 1: Georgia
They’re favored, but Oregon is preseason ranked #11. Should be an entertaining game.

I thought I was gonna have to ask for a ruling as to which counted, Florida A&M or App State. What a nutty game.

personally could care less because it is not college athletic sport any more.. It is big frigging money making business.. The sale and marketing of school support merchandise not only on local level but statewide as well as national market .... Most of the big name teams play several little no name teams to boost their winning record.. the coaches are way over payed... Some recieve several million dollars a year base salary with multi year contracts with incintives for bowl games as well as conference title game..tv game day endorsements.. advertising endorsements for products and services... And do not get me started on the primadona players who think that they are above laws and rules that everyone is expected to abide by.... and if they are on a scholarship that if they drop out of school prior to graduation so they can go play in the NFL(national felons league) while their college were paid by others.. then when they fail or injured and cannot play anymore then they want us to feel sorry for them and want us to support them on welfare because of their piss poor planning for their future after their playing days................Time to get of the soap box................ Am a fan of LSU Tigers but if they roll over and play dead or shoot themselves in the foot then so be it if they loose....................................drill sgt.
