was the other couples shown at a table part of his party?

if not, guessing it was a private area or reserved area, since it looked like the restaurant was empty

I agree wholeheartedly. These are the actions of people who have never faced consequences for poor behavior. They learn in school that they won't face punishment from those who supposedly have the authority to mete out consequences.

I really believe we should have the legal ability to punch people say 5 times a year without reprecussions. Most people would rethink their approach to other people after a punch or two. The slow learners would basically get daily beatings until they figured it out.

Maybe tasing would be better. I'll bet "don't tase my bro" guy thinks differently now.

[sarcasm] that would be bullying,, and that is bad Big Grin [/sarcasm]

they know what they are doing, never touch, just scream, get close and cause a ruckus,
hoping someone will trip and fall into them or take a swing,

wondering how many at the different restaurants these thing happen at, whose meals and evening are disrupted, bring it up with management?

if the wife and I were nearby, and had out meal disrupted by such tomfoolery, I would definitely voice my displeasure to management, and not be willing to pay a dime, would probably get up and leave,

They're yelling about racism, but they're the ones assaulting a Hispanic man attempting to enjoy dinner with his family. Flip the headlines on them.

I'm convinced that those whose money is involved have one goal in mind: To provoke some right wing, gun totin' hot head into a scene to be then splattered on media world wide. Awesome restraint so far.

Are these the people who should be handed power? It just baffles me. I we send a message in the mid-terms and take even more power away from them.

Because most people will never see this video.

I wonder if Cruz could use this video in his campaign advertising?

Fiola, an Italian restaurant near the Capitol building.

The restaurant bears responsibility too (IMHO). If someone comes in to be a customer, and a mob harasses them, the restaurant should take immediate action to order the mob to leave. Call 911 first, then protect the customers, record the incident.

In my head the restaurant owner pulls a Bronx Tale and locks the door on these fools, and the kitchen staff comes out to suffer these fools!

"Now yuse cant leave!"

Please ask your friends and family to vote in the mid-Term so much rides on it.

An immigrant at that!

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

This. Feeling threatened by an unhinged mob I would have unloaded a barrage of pepper spray.

No one would be eating at Fiola's that evening.

I ask again. Where in Hell is security for these senators?

They generally don't get Capitol Police escorts unless they're in the leadership. Most of their daily travels around the Hill are either secure buildings or in between them with lots of Cap. Police around. But even the Cap. Police escorts won't step in unless a protectee is being threatened. I think Pam Bondi (AG of FL) has been confronted a few times in public and to the point that the protester's yelling was getting spittle on her, and her state police escorts didn't step in.

I understand they only get ad hoc protection when there is a threat but last time I saw this behavior toward a senator it was Mitch McConnell and he had no security either. In this video those people were way inside Cruz' personal space. The fringe loonies are being stirred and it's just a matter of time before someone gets killed in this environment of incivility.

Remember in 97 when the Martins were caught taping Newt Gingrich's cell phone calls. I can only imagine the extent of surveillance the Democrats use against their enemies at this point.
