Maggot thought it was going to be another easy one that day.

Douchbag strolls in, shows the gun, drops the bag on the counter (assumes he tells the guy to fill the bag), walks to the other side of the counter, taking his eyes off of the victim, giving the victim his chance. The punk made a big mistake, thinking the guy was an 'easy' score. He got exactly what he deserved.

I counted 14 and possibly 15 rounds fired.

Looks like a number of them probably entered his buttocks, based on the way he was curled up.

I counted 15...to slide lock. That is my only critique. "Tactically" being at slide lock left him nothing in reserve in case the perp had any accomplices. Legally, all those rounds after the perp drops and is inert could be a problem. criminally or civilly.

Based on his movements it looks like he had quite the adrenaline dump and was very target fixated.

Understandable, but this is why force on force training is important. It gets you better at being able to think and function beyond just a pure marksmanship level (if that) in a violent incident.

Yup, not separated from his weapon (I couldn't see it) and still moving. He done good to keep administering the medicine. Good shoot.

"The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

I hope MetroPCS doesn't do anything to the employee defending himself, and as for the bad guy I hope that it hurt a lot before he died.

My only critique is this is why an extra magazine could be helpful.

Otherwise, good shoot, glad that the employee was unhurt. The only real tragedy was the copy machine got killafied.

They'll probably make the clerk pay for it . . . .

Not a chance. Maybe if he slowly walked over to the scumbag, stood over him, and did a mag dump, but that clearly was not the scenario here.

Yeah. W/ all the past LE shootings at close range resulting in misses, 15 shots does not equal 15 hits. In a matter of seconds, how do you assess that?
Stop and check the perp after every shot to see if they hit or nullified the threat? Dude's fighting for his life. Not the other's.
