Good example of the clerk maintaining his situational awareness and not staying buried in his computer screen.

If I had to guess...I'd say he left and closed the door to preserve the scene, and prevent other customers from entering until responders did.

Great video! I just had to chuckle watching the arrogant cavalier thug throw a bag to be filled up with stolen cash and wind up dead on the floor!

It reminded me of this: Of course, the coolness wore off of this guy much more slowly and he didn't get nine bullets in his ass, so, he had that goin' for him.

'This' is how the BS infesting society today is ended. Threaten my life or that of my family and you're history. No arrest, trial, jail time, or rehab for the American taxpayer to foot the bill for. Just one and done. But you can rest assured, regardless the circumstances, given a white guy killed a black guy with a gun, this won't be the end of this incident. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. He really did an excellent job of not being task locked. He was there on the computer but was not so focused that he saw someone coming to the door, presumably even noticed he was inappropriately dressed and maybe even saw the gun. I think he had good sense to grab his phone and get the hell out to call the cops. Good draw from concealment, got a two handed grip under stress and even looks like he had good recoil management. And it looks like the first shot or maybe the second got the BG in the head. ---------------------------- Chuck Norris put the laughter in "manslaughter" Educating the youth of America, one declension at a time.

That employee did a great job. He suspected a possible threat, situated his hand near his firearm, and then neutralized the threat once he was being robbed. Great job. NRA Benefactor Life Member

glad no charges. that punk went down in a heap fast. being a lefty worked out for that clerk I see so many unsavory looking cats wearing hoodies or other heavy clothing in the middle of summer. its in the upper 90s where i am today and I'm sweating in khaki shorts and a loose knit shirt and flip flops. I was out earlier running errands and sure as stuff, i see some guy in full dark pants and dark hoodie. do they purposely want to draw attention to themselves ? every time i see one i nudge my wife to keep an eye on him. its just not normal clothing for this area for this time of year.

San Francisco is cold in August! I guess trenchcoats with streetsweepers under them is no longer fashionable.

When the clerk tip toes past the expiring BG, I keep hearing this in my head: I see a little silhouetto of a man! Scaramouche! Scaramouche! Will you do the fandango?

Getting out was absolutely the right move. He was slide locked and I am assuming he didnt have a reload. No point in staying there unless you want to go hands on. You can still observe through the window. If he moves run. He can also keep other from going inside.

Probably true. I'm thinking that was his pack of smokes he grabbed off of the counter there on the way out. ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

I feel really bad for the clerk. Sucks to be in that situation. But glad he’s okay.
