Saw it driving home last night. Very clear here in southern Kentucky. Many people out with telescopes, etc. looking.

We will be out on Burnt Mountain Lookout on 136 North of Dawsonville every clear night this week with both scopes.

We have a 10" Celestron and a 12" Meade.

Nice!!!

Whats your setup? Going to upgrade my entry level 90mm refractor/altaz mount.

Have not sent any cash to University Optics in quite a while...except I just saw on the Gore-net that they shut down in 2017... Frown

We drove over to a construction area that is higher than our subdivision and we could see it. The Tomminator brought his telescope and once we got it into focus you could definitely see the rings of Saturn and moons around Jupiter. Super cool.

I had a nice view, but had to see it from work (couldn't get home earlier), so no telescope. Just a binocular view.

I was able to see it. Impressive only in its rarity.

The sky was overcast here, but I'll try again tonight for an "almost" view.

I looked at them tonight with my spotting scope. Wish my telescope was available. Nothing special with the spotting scope, but I was still excited I got to see them so close together. With Mars, the moon, Jupiter and Saturn in the same sky I consider seeing them pretty cool.

The boy and I saw it tonight, with a x60 spotting scope you could see some detail but the mount was not the best so it was shaky.

The 22nd was clear, and they were easy to spot. Binoculars made the view even better.
