Actually Eric Adams has begun an ad campaign to get them to move to NY.
Of course the lock downs, high crime rates, and loss of businesses may give even lefties cause to hesitate.

Plus the cost of living compared to Florida, higher taxes state and city, snow and cold weather and a long long drive to Disney World.

^^^This. As a Central Floridian, I will not be sad to see any of these people go (assuming any of them do, which is doubtful).

Yep, listen to Eric Adams the poster child for adult stupidity and incompetence. And as an aside, all this bluster by these teacher is 100% grade A horsesh*t. Unfortunately they aren't going anywhere. They have it incredible good on the union protected gravy train here in sunny Florida, and they know it.

This. No matter how much you try to normalize mental illness, it remains mental illness.

No.

I'm not starting a debate on that issue but it is the "give an inch - take a mile philosophy" that got us the 42 different sexes, letting little boys cut their dicks off to make them a girl, and all the cancel culture that follows.

Huh? I don’t really understand your post. Frown

I was just telling these upset teachers to get the fuck out. Adios. Good bye. Leave if you want. Do something else.

I just did a quick search of some of the Tampa and Orlando news stations and there is nothing mentioned about teachers in this area quitting because of the new law.

And as I noted previously, you won't. They'll bitch and gripe, but they know they have a sweet union protected deal and aren't going anywhere.

How anyone can legitimately believe that educating, indoctrinating or exposing prepubescent children to any sexual orientation or content is proper defies logic.

He most likely interpreted that the "GTFO, please" was your response to his first post. That's how I see it. Wink

It should be Kindergarten through 12th grade.
The only people talking to children about these topics should be their parents or people approved by the parents.

I've been saying the same thing. The law that passed isn't restrictive enough. I said 8th grade though. I had sex-ed freshman year in the 80s.

NO teacher has any business discussing ANY sexuality in K-3rd grade.

Bunch of perverts.

K-3rd grade? Should be K-12 grade.

OK Groomer. Then get lost.

This is another reason I moved to Florida and this area of the panhandle specifically besides we had family here is the cultural attitudes toward this type of BS. I am grateful to DeSantis codifying it. My local school district isn’t going anywhere near this. The parents would string them up.

I agree 100%.

The law is specifically about K-3, though.
