I get it. NFL has gotten too big for their britches. Multi millionaires, many who are blatantly obnoxious. Not all, there's a few good guys. But still, it's such a spectacle...
It's a spectacle, ya got that right Smile

My wife and I never watched it because, with few exceptions, we never cared to watch other people play sports. (Some Winter Olympics are usually an exception, for her. Ice hockey (in the past) and golf have been exceptions for me.)

To me, the bigger issue, these days, has been the major sports' bowing to the blatantly un-American antics on the part of such as Colin Kaepernick. That I find entirely inexcusable. Particularly on the part of the NFL, which likes to call its game "America's Game," then allowed its well-paid entertainers to piss all over America.

Had I ever followed American football, I'm confident that would have been the end of it for me. (It was for one of my two best friends, who used to host a big Super Bowl party every year. He now follows the NFL not at all.)

I think this would have summed-up my feelings pretty well: My Debt to Colin Kaepernick for Not Watching or Missing the Super Bowl

I'm not calling you, or anybody else who still follows pro sports, out--if for no other reason than the boss has told us we are not to do that here. I imagine if I'd ever followed pro sports it might be otherwise, but I honestly do not understand the continued interest.
