linerBest Super Bowl Ever?
Yes it was.
The patriots won because they possessed all the intangibles.
A Qb playing for sports immortality and his sick mother.
Superior coaching
A massive amount of experience in big games at all positions.
The ultimate us against the world attitude
And of course fate.

I hope Belichick will talk to his players about this.

sdyshort video of Julian Edelman's catch.
includes the audio of his mic

Falcons didn't give up - their defense was simply gassed. Atl defense was on the field for 93 snaps, almost twice as many snaps as the Pats defense. Quinn had them played man coverage most of the time because Brady and his small receivers are really efficient at picking apart zones. Playing man is tough for the secondary because they have to constantly running after the recievers, adjust and readjust to what the receivers are doing. Pass rushers were also gassed because they have to constantly explode off each snap, even with the DL rotations. The fact that Brady kept the ball for so many snaps was what led to Atl defense collapsing.
This means the Pats offense was in the field for 93 snaps. Imagine how beat you would be trying to manhandle those 300+ lb. DLs! Running routes is tough on wide receivers, because they have to juke and try to outrun those vicious DBs, especially when you are so far behind with so much on the line. How many hits can a RB handle in one game where nearly everyone outweighs you by ~50 lbs!
If you looked at Edelmans face at the post game interview you would see how many hits a small receiver can take. Hopefully he doesn't end up like Welker.

That was cool. The end with them pointing at the screen reminded me of playing football as a kid.
I caught it!

CoolRich59Did we really need to use federal law enforcement resources to look for a soiled garment?

6gunsSpeaking of the Super Bowl. Does anyone know how I can watch that game? I purchased a DVD from amazon thinking it was the game, but only the highlights of the entire Patriots season. I only saw the first half and missed the whole second half.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Like many things in life, it's often about who you know. Consider this:
High value theft.
Item smuggled over the border
NFL may have provided thief with media credentials
Many security chiefs for NFL teams are retired FBI/SS
Bob Kraft already had a SB ring stolen in Russia
Bob Kraft and Trump are best friends

I think the last item was all that was necessary.

The kicker is the theft was by a "credentialed member of the press."

SIGnifiedSomething worth $500k is a big deal. But wait, there is more ... apparently they found another stolen jersey from the prior Pats Superbowl (QB).
So, could be $1MM worth of stolen sports memorabilia. Easily can see the FBI involved.
That it was stolen and taken to Mexico will further bolster Trump's efforts at making the case against "migrant" workers and gettin' that Wall up.

sdyJersey thief has been identified.
http://heavy.com/sports/2017/0...o-von-miller-helmet/Mauricio Ortega was named in Mexican media as the journalist – and memorabilia collector – accused of stealing Tom Brady’s highly prized 2017 Super Bowl jersey.
some video at link
“Mauricio Ortega was dismissed a few days ago when they learned that he stole the Tom Brady jersey,” reported Beatriz Pereyra, a reporter for Proceso. Pereyra identified the suspect as “the director of the newspaper La Prensa, Mauricio Ortega."
