| Prayers being said for you, your Mom and other hurting people. I as well had a similar thing with my Mom and then a few years later my Dad, so I know how painful this is. As an aside, one of the things my Dad told me before it got real, real bad, was; Getting old ain't for sissies. True that. I am so sorry. |

| Censored, I’m sorry you are having to go through this without another family member with you at this sad and difficult time. Your mom is blessed to have you there with her, in a setting where her comfort can be attended to, and her final wishes followed. You are a good son. God bless you.

Pretty much all I would've said but SJtill said it better. +1
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

| I'm sorry to hear that, hang in there and comfort her as best you can. I did the same for my dad when he was in ICU for 3 months. |

Eulogies are not for the deceased; they are for the survivors. And yes I agree, don't wait.

| My condolences and prayers. I went through somewhat similar conditions with my mom some years ago and understand a little of what you are experiencing. It is not for the faint of heart. flashguy
