Sorry, I thought Yankees ate Oats as in Oat Meal... and yes I know Grits are corn.... but then most people who eat grits don't eat real grits the ones I eat take about an hour to cook and are yellow... much like polenta.... the strange thing was when I was in Italy about 15 years ago they served polenta at the noon and evening meals but not in the mornings.... go figure...
