I think we all are well aware the 2020 election was meddled with, rigged, cheated and stolen from us. Nothing that's released will come as a surprise at least to me and I doubt anyone is going to suffer consequences that will deter the same thing from happening again. Personally I say let it go it's over with it actually helped Trump in the end. If the Dems had not stolen it he wouldn't be President today. Put the energy and effort into dealing with the now. Why is Ilhan Omar still a sitting senator? Why is Walz, Ellison, Flannagan and the rest still holding power after openly declaring war on the federal government and actively supporting insurrection?

So it's been proven Dominion voting machines had some chip embedded in them that communicated outside the machine and changed thousands if not millions of votes from Trump to Biden or stopped counting entirely while Biden had enough votes to win. Why has Dominion not been raided and shut down and all their machines put through the crusher? Yeah I know we have to investigate further, cross all the T's and dot all the I's. Meanwhile the commies don't care about T's and I's the just keep pushing forward.

Florida Lawmakers Vote to Rename Palm Beach Airport After Trump

Lawmakers in Florida approved legislation on Thursday renaming the Palm Beach International Airport after President Donald Trump.

The 25-11 vote in Florida's Senate came days after the state's House of Representatives passed the measure 81-30.

Republican lawmakers largely supported the bill, while Democrats objected to the airport rebrand.

"It’s misguided and unfair that the Republican-controlled Florida Legislature ignored the voices of Palm Beach County by pushing forward a bill to rename Palm Beach International Airport without giving County residents a real opportunity for input," said Rep. Lois Frankel, a Democrat who represents West Palm Beach.

The bill heads next to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, who has not said whether he will sign it. The governor's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The White House declined to comment. Spokespeople for Palm Beach County and the Trump Organization did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The decision to rename the airport after Trump follows Florida's approval last year of a plan to donate a downtown Miami property for the site of Trump's presidential library.

Trump, a native of New York, moved to Florida in 2019. Before the move, he lived in a penthouse at Trump Tower but has since taken primary residence at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach.

Disagree. At least 2/3rds of Americans and probably 95% of citizens of western countries who are nominally our allies don't believe the election was stolen. Similar percentages believe that J6 was an actual insurrection and Trump instigated it. Similar percentages believe there was a Russia connection, and believe Hunter's laptop wasn't real. They believe Trump is irrationally pursuing all kinds of actions without any justification, because if all those things they believe are true then Trump really would be a dangerous ego maniac.

Americans need to see irrefutable proof positive pushed in their faces for months until the dem propaganda they've bought into is overcome. They need to have it explained in 3rd grade language with pictures, not with complex pages full of numbers and names. They need to see arrests and trials, because that brings its own force of truth. (Many tout that the courts found no election fraud). They need to realize how much they've been lied to by media and politicians. They need to feel utterly betrayed by those they mindlessly believed, so that they will question everything going forward.

Watergate was at first a nothing burger to the public until the media started heavily pushing the story. People didn't understand the implications until it was spelled out simply and repeatedly.

The issue isn't whether Trump actually won in 2020. The issue is how deep the rot is in DC and the media. It isn't about red vs blue either, though the left owns more of the rot than the right.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday struck down Trump's tariffs.

Developing...

The Court was considering whether Trump's use of the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) - which constitute about half of the tariffs we've seen under Trump.

Trump invoked IEEPA to impose his 'reciprocal' tariffs on nearly every foreign trade partner to address what he called a national emergency over US trade deficits. He invoked it again to impose tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico over fentanyl trafficking into the United States.

During arguments on Nov. 5, the court seemed skeptical over Trump's authority to use IEEPA, leading most observers observers, including betting markets, to conclude a high probability they're struck down at least in part. The Trump administration is appealing lower court rulings that he overstepped his authority, while Trump himself said a Supreme Court ruling against the tariffs would be a "terrible blow" to the United States.

That said, even if that happens, the Trump administration has several other legal avenues they can pursue. As Deutsche Bank noted last month;

For instance, the sectoral tariffs (e.g. on steel and aluminum) aren’t covered by the court ruling, whilst another option would be to use Section 122 of the 1974 Trade Act, which permits temporary 15% tariffs for 150 days.

And Goldman:

This won’t be the end of tariffs… the administration will almost certainly roll out alternative legal frameworks. Net result is probably slightly fewer tariffs, materially more trade uncertainty, and some incremental deficit concerns. Net-net, that’s mildly supportive for equities and mildly negative for bonds… but largely priced for both.

The cases under consideration by the Supremes were brought by businesses affected by the tariffs and 12 mostly blue US states.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Question now is how will Trump pivot and use the ruling to his (read: the USA’s) constitutional advantage

I don't think that will happen. Some will try but we will now see Tarriffs 2.0.

Do we? Tariffs are a tax so sounds like we might get a tax refund. Trump already talked about checks being sent out to Americans. Maybe that is the easiest way to remedy this court caused fiasco.

The tariffs were on other countries.

I'm a bit surprised by the 6-3 vote.

Just reduce the financial aid we give them by the amount of tariffs refunded, plus an additional 10% for administration fees. Big Grin

Which would end any rebate to taxpayers he had planned for before November, and of course increase the debt.

Moot point. Even if Roberts sided with the administration still would’ve been 5-4.

Court essentially said how Trump did it wasn’t correct and eludes there are other avenues to do it.

If tariffs monies are given back, what happens to the monies which the consumer initially paid? Wink

Roberts might have “betrayed the country again”, but it was a 6-3 ruling. His vote wasn’t pivotal this time compared to the 5-4 decision on 2012 Obamacare. I lay the blame more on Gorsuch and ACB this time.
