^^^^^^^ Yes, time and time again, Trump trolls them, gives them the bait and enough line to hook them, and then reels them in and tosses them into the boat. True. There never was an invasion planned nor was there an effort to make Canada a state. It was kind of brilliant. He got everything he wanted for basically nothing. He also made Carney look like a buffoon as well as a great many European “leaders”. If we can get another couple Trump like presidents over the next couple cycles we might actually fix some things that needed fixing. The funny part is that the loudest detractors will benefit as well. You got to let Trump be Trump. He is smarter than you. He works harder than you. He’s probably more patriotic than you. And by “you” I include myself as well. I’m smart, hard working, and patriotic. You start shooting at me and I’m buying a private island and disappearing if I’m a billionaire.

This is not easy to do... especially under the extreme time constraints in these hearings. Brandon Gill: https://x.com/CurtisHouck/stat...ommittee-evidence%2F "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

My enduring question is: "When will PDJT turn his magnificent powers of change onto our very own Congress who foolishly behave as if they are a power unto themselves?" Much as how the EU has been acting for a couple of decades. I believe he has been setting the table for just such a delicious dessert. Is it time to serve it yet? Perhaps this is what we should be wishing for in Year Two!

That was a first class beat down delivered in a very concise way and shows what a POS Smith is. That fuck shouldn’t have been given ANY power to do what the Libs wanted him to do. Of course he took the job anyway because, why not? Total power, total unaccountability and who’s gonna know? Well Jack, WE ALL KNOW!! I would really like to say what should happen to Jack Smith but the internet is forever and I don’t own stock in piano wire or rope companies. -------- After the game, the King and the pawn go into the same box.

Another Trump Admin Win! The first year of President Donald Trump’s second term saw historic reductions in violent crimes, while federal arrests soared by 100 percent, according to the FBI. The 2025 milestones were achieved as a result of a “full-scale reset of the FBI—operationally, culturally, and fiscally,” FBI Director Kash Patel told The Epoch Times. Murder rates fell by 20 percent nationwide, the largest decline on record, according to statistics released by the FBI on Jan. 22. more here: https://www.theepochtimes.com/...m9H%2B%2FTRyIzMVY%3D _________________________

He likely has immunity from prosecution due to his government position… any ideas from our legal scholars herein as to how to successfully prosecute? From Perplexity: “”That immunity does not extend to bar criminal prosecution if a prosecutor himself engages in conduct that meets the elements of a crime, such as bribery, obstruction of justice, destruction or fabrication of evidence, or perjury. Smith’s status as a special counsel appointed by the attorney general did not make him a constitutional officer like the president, nor did it place him in any category that courts have treated as criminally immune. The Supreme Court’s immunity debates and filings in United States v. Trump concern presidential immunity, not immunity for line prosecutors or special counsels. If it were ever shown that he knowingly lied to a court (for example, inventing a “flight risk” rationale he knew to be false), he could theoretically be investigated and charged like any other lawyer or official for perjury, false statements, or obstruction; his prior title would not legally bar that.“” The Radical Left will do ANYTHING to eliminate Our President-assassination, incarceration… you name it and they will try it. They should be thankful that we Conservatives play by the rules! Because of the Constitution. Congress is a power unto themselves. There will always be a tug of war between the executive branch and the congress over who dictates what. And the courts, for that matter. _________________________ 2nd Amendment Defender The Second Amendment is not about hunting or sport shooting.

Congress continually abdicates their responsibilities by refusing to pass budgets, refusing to balance the budget, and by delegating law making to the executive branch under all kinds of regulatory schemes. The Constitution does not have a provision for "regulations" to be made by the executive branch. It says "Congress makes the laws". Yet they do it anyway. Why? Because they have no term limits and they enrich themselves on the backs of the taxpayers. Their only goal is to get re-elected and to do that they avoid taking any real stand on anything that might result in getting voted out. So they hide in the numbers of all the others that vote for legislation, pretend they aren't responsible for anything bad that happens, and let the executive branch bureaucrats pass all manner of regulations and rules that cause us all kinds of difficulty. All so they don't actually have to pass laws. This has to change. If they want to exert their full constitutional authority then they have to actually do their damn jobs. Biden and Trump should not be able to do all the things they did or are doing without Congressional approval. But Congress passed the laws that allow them to. A state of emergency for the flu that allowed a ton of our rights to be ignored? Opening the border to let millions in and abusing asylum parole to include every single illegal? Even Trumps tariffs, but he argues that if he is allowed to regulate trade, he can use tariffs. What other tool is there? Bans or quotas only, and they won't have the same effect.

And related, nor does the Constitution authorize the administrative courts that accompany regulations. One's 4th and 5th Amendment rights do not apply, and you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent to the judge.

https://www.newsmax.com/world/...dkt_nbr=010102tts64l Report: US to Inject $1.6 Billion into Rare Earths Miner for 10% Stake The United States is planning to inject $1.6 billion into Oklahoma-based miner USA Rare Earth and will receive a 10% stake in the company, the Financial Times reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter. The government investment and a separate $1 billion private financing deal are slated to be announced on Monday, the report said. The White House and USA Rare Earth did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment. The government would receive 16.1 million shares in the rare earths company, along with warrants for a further 17.6 million, both priced at $17.17, the report said. Washington said in December last year it was planning more "historic deals" with the U.S. mining sector to increase domestic production of lithium, rare earths and other minerals used for national defense and rely less on China, which has used its minerals prowess as leverage in trade negotiations. Last year, the administration took equity stakes in MP Materials, Lithium Americas and Trilogy Metals . The deal with USA Rare Earth was "focused on onshoring critical and strategic minerals essential to the semiconductor supply chain and US national security," the FT quoted an official in the U.S. Commerce Department's CHIPS office, which provides incentives for investment and equipment in the U.S., as saying. The company has also brought in Cantor Fitzgerald, an investment banking and brokerage firm chaired by Brandon Lutnick, the son of U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, to lead efforts to raise more than $1 billion in fresh equity, the FT said. USA Rare Earth has been developing a mine in Sierra Blanca, Texas and a neo magnet manufacturing facility in Stillwater, Oklahoma, which is expected to go commercial in the first half of 2026. The company, which has a market capitalization of $3.45 billion, has emerged as one of the more large-scale U.S. neo magnet manufacturers.

I completely agree with what you’re saying, lefty sig. Yes I agree he can't just change Congress. But he could refuse to enforce any regulation not passed by a vote of Congress. Force their hand. I could push the limits on other things and force them to pass veto-proof legislation to stop him. Notice they are not passing legislation to limit his use of tariffs. They are going to let the Supreme Court decide. He could call for a Constitutional amendment for term limits and get it going in the states.

Somehow prohibition was passed due to enough public support. The politicians went along with it, even though they never intended to actually follow it. Trump can get the ball rolling. If enough voters demand it, it might happen.

I wonder how the 2nd Amendment would fare if there were a Constitutional Convention. Better watch what you wish for.

| Shall Not Be Infringed |
^^ Any amendments proposed by an Article V Convention, or 'Convention of States' still require ratification by three-fourths (38) of the States. The key differentiator is the amendment process of the Article Five Convention bypasses Congress. The likelihood of 38 state legislatures voting to ratify an amendment which would repeal the Second Amendment are practically zero! ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !!
