Noem spent $220 million on ads that featured herself… and told Congress that DJT knew about it and approved.

Noem was also asked if she "had sexual relations with Corey Lewandowski," Noem replied, "I am shocked we're going down and peddling tabloid garbage in this committee."

But she didn't deny it.

"He is a special government employee who works for the White House. There are thousands of them in the federal government," Noem said, adding that Lewandowski does not have the authority to make decisions for DHS.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I'm not shedding tears over Noem. I predicted this months ago that she would become a distraction and Trump would have to replace her. Her relationship with Lewandowski got in the way. She wasn't smart enough to keep him at arms length professionally and he wasn't smart enough to stay in the background. The Dems attacked her on her Lewandowski relationship during the congressional hearings. She was over her head in Minnesota. Rushing to get to the microphone and camera before she knew what was going on.

Trump didn't throw her under the bus either which means he considers her loyal. He moved her out but awarded her a consolation prize as a new job, which he normally doesn't do. As we all know, he has no issue with saying "you're fired!"

I hope Oklahoma Gov. Stitt can get us a solid replacement senator. I have seen local speculation that he wants the job for himself.

One more thing, the "media company" that was paid to make the ads was only formed 11 days before being awarded the contract.

Noem's days were numbered after that disastrous Senate hearing. Her self promoting was getting old, at least to me.

I'm also glad Trump is keeping her in his administration.

“It was time. Replacing Kristi was based on the culmination of her many unfortunate leadership mishaps including the fallout in Minnesota, the $200 million dollars ad campaign, the allegations of infidelity, the mismanagement of her staff, and her constant feuding with the heads of other agencies, including CBP and ICE. Kristi’s drama sadly overshadowed and distracted from the Administration’s extremely popular immigration agenda, which will continue full force.”

Blondi Bondi should take notice.

Where are the prosecutions? How much longer does she think she has?

No corruption prosecutions. No election fraud prosecutions.

Anyone from J6 prosecuted yet? Clapper? Comey? Brennan? Strozk or Page?

How about Hillary? Her home server? Erasing all her files? Selling US passports while SecState. Russiagate? Uranium? Her entire life should be an indictment.

Anyone? Bueller?

Crickets.

Everyone else is busting their balls and the DoJ seems to be pretty much irrelevant.

How much longer before we declare the DoJ a dead organization?

^^ Seems to be about the only thing you can do that will bring accountability. As bad as disrupting any religious gathering is, far worse things that are far more damaging to the country have and continue to be done. I also noticed the Biden Autopen investigation has been quietly dropped. Patel and Bondi both need to get something accomplished soon. Congressional hearings, investigations, harsh words and letters seem to be as far as we get.

What to Know About Markwayne Mullin, Trump’s Pick to Replace Noem as DHS Head

The Oklahoma senator will replace Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on March 31, the president said.

Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) has been tapped to head up the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) after President Donald Trump on Thursday fired DHS Secretary Kristi Noem from the post.

“I am pleased to announce that the Highly Respected United States Senator from the Great State of Oklahoma, Markwayne Mullin, will become the United States Secretary of Homeland Security,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

Mullin will replace Noem on March 31, Trump said.

The president said Noem served well and had “numerous and spectacular results,” namely with respect to the U.S.–Mexico border’s security. Noem, a former governor of South Dakota, will be leaving for the newly created post of special envoy for the shield of the Americas, he wrote.

Here’s what to know about the Oklahoma Republican slated to lead one of the U.S. government’s most controversial government departments.
‘I Wasn’t Expecting the Call Today’

Mullin has said that he was just as surprised by the news as the rest of the nation.
“I wasn’t expecting the call today,” he told an ABC News reporter during a live interview, adding that he is “ready to get started” and his “focus is to keep the homeland secure.”

On Truth Social, Trump said Mullin “will work tirelessly” to secure the U.S.–Mexico border and stop “migrant crime, murderers, and other criminals from illegally entering” the United States.
Mullin responded in kind, telling ABC that he was “great friends” with Trump and is “super excited about the opportunity” to head up the agency.
Personal Life

Mullin, 48, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
One-eighth Cherokee Indian, Mullin is a documented member of the Cherokee Nation and the only Native American in the U.S. Senate. The lawmaker traces his Cherokee ancestry back to North Carolina and Georgia, where his ancestors resided before being relocated to Oklahoma during the Trail of Tears.

He also serves on the Senate Indian Affairs Committee.

Mullin married his wife, Christie, in 1997. Today, the couple has six children, three of whom are adopted.

Mullin had long worked as a businessman before his ascent to Congress in 2012. At that time, he owned four companies: Mullin Properties, Mullin Farms, Mullin Services, and Mullin Plumbing. The lawmaker has stated that he has sold off his plumbing-related enterprises in 2021. He is also a working rancher.
Political Career

Mullin entered Congress in 2012, being elected first to the House of Representatives.

He ascended to the Senate in 2023, being elected in 2022 following the retirement of Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.).

In 2021, while still in the House, Mullin joined Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) in barricading the House chamber during the Jan. 6 certification of President Joe Biden’s electoral victory. He saw the fatal shooting of Ashli Babbitt, and has said that the officer had no choice but to shoot.

In 2022, Mullin introduced legislation in that chamber to remove Trump’s impeachments from the Congressional Record. The Democratic House majority at the time left the push dead on arrival in the chamber.

In 2025, he joined his colleagues in voting to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the vehicle for Trump’s second-term policy agenda.
DHS Reputation

Mullin takes the helm of DHS at the most difficult point of its roughly 23-year existence.
Many of DHS’s functions remain popular and non-controversial with voters. These include patrolling U.S. waters and interdicting drug trafficking through the Coast Guard, providing emergency response to natural disasters and weather events through the Federal Emergency Management Administration, and cybersecurity defense.

DHS also oversees the Transportation Safety Administration and airport security.

However, in recent months, voter support for DHS’s immigration enforcement arms—most prominently Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)—has plummeted.

According to one poll by YouGov, a record 50 percent of Americans support abolishing ICE, including 23 percent of Republican respondents. That reflects an increase in support for the position since Jan. 17, when just 46 percent of voters backed the position.
DHS has faced scrutiny for its recent major immigration operation in Minneapolis, which has since ended. During the operation, two protesters—Renée Good and Alex Pretti—were killed in separate immigration agent-involved shootings.
DHS Remains Shut Down

DHS has remained partially shut down for weeks after Democrats demanded that ICE agents adhere to stricter rules around masking, identification, uniform, and judicial warrants, with Senate Democrats vowing to block any DHS funding measure that doesn’t include these provisions.

Mullin, meanwhile, has mounted a defense of DHS in several media appearances since the shutdown started, including during an interview in mid-February with CNN, where he accused Democrats of engaging in “political theater.”

“They’re not stopping the Border Patrol from doing their job. All this is a political theater because the State of the Union is coming up a week from Tuesday,” Mullin said.

He has called the outgoing Noem “a friend,” telling ABC that he supported her role as head of the DHS and that she had a difficult job to perform.

After Trump announced that Mullin will take over, Noem wrote in a post on X that she is thanking Trump for naming her as special envoy for the shield of the Americas.
Senate Confirmation

Mullin said he and the Trump administration will now work toward getting confirmed in the Senate and will speak with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).
At least one Democrat, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), wrote Thursday in a post on X that he would back Mullin to head DHS.

Mullin would only need a simple majority to be confirmed, meaning that he could be approved without any Democratic support as long as he has GOP backing.

The collegial upper chamber has historically been more favorable to its own members in cabinet nominations. At the start of Trump’s term, while the fate of other nominees remained uncertain, then-Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) easily slid to a unanimous confirmation in the upper chamber.

How do you know that? You may be absolutely right, but not because we aren’t getting daily teasers via the BS media.

Proper investigations take time and for many reasons competent and conscientious investigators won’t be in front of a news camera every other day trumpeting what they’re doing with a case. It wasn’t long ago that the FBI director made himself look foolish by making an announcement on a case that was totally wrong; hopefully his people learned something from that—assuming they weren’t professional enough to know it without having it demonstrated to the country.

And of course the irony is that if a high profile case captures the attention of the nation and the media starts providing nonstop coverage, some people who can’t turn off their teevees or otherwise ignore what they’re being fed will complain about that.

No one would love to see more details about how the Biden Whitehouse was run than I, but I am willing to exercise a little patience to wait for them.

Regarding the autopen, there is this:

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/...734408&lctg=26773771

Remember the Biden Autopen Investigation? There's Been an Update...and It's Not Good

We’re involved in military actions in Iran, including the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei. We’re also sourcing oil and minerals from Venezuela, Kristi Noem has been dismissed, and the fate of the SAVE Act remains uncertain. With the 2026 midterms approaching, these issues often get overlooked, and the results can be unfavorable. The investigation into Biden's autopen use has concluded, with the Justice Department quietly ending it, supposedly due to the lack of a suitable criminal statute to pursue charges (via CBS News):

"Federal prosecutors in U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's office are dropping a criminal probe into whether former President Joe Biden and his aides unlawfully used an autopen to issue pardons, a person briefed on the matter told CBS News.

Two sources confirmed the existence of the probe, with one telling CBS News that the matter has since been closed because prosecutors were never able to find a legal hook to be able to pursue the matter further. CBS News has not determined precisely when the case ended.

Last June, President Trump ordered an investigation into whether the Biden administration used an autopen machine to sign key presidential documents like pardons — months after Mr. Trump had claimed his predecessor's pardons were illegitimate.

Mr. Trump told Attorney General Pam Bondi and the White House counsel in a memo to probe what he claimed was a "conspiracy" to "abuse the power of Presidential signatures through the use of an autopen to conceal Biden's cognitive decline."

The order cited a number of executive actions by Biden, including pardons and judicial appointments, and argued "there are serious doubts as to the decision making process and even the degree of Biden's awareness of these actions being taken in his name."

It suggested that if Biden's advisers "secretly used the mechanical signature pen," it would "have implications for the legality and validity of numerous executive actions."

So, what happens now? Well, for starters, questions will linger since we know Joe Biden was mentally incapable of doing the job, especially in his final year in office. The Rube Goldberg way of deciding pardons and commutations, for example, was especially eye-opening, as the then-White House Counsel’s office seemed unaware of who was actually under consideration. It was a circus, and the emails bear that out.

So, just because the DOJ gave up, doesn’t mean independent reporters will stop digging.

Independent journalists may uncover mountains of evidence, but it won’t matter when the Justice Department isn’t interested in justice. That’s always been the problem. No matter what evidence is presented, there’s never any willingness to actually prosecute. Look at fraud we’ve uncovered! look at the crimes we’ve discovered! Then…crickets.

I just saw this in my Bongino Report email:

"IS THE BIDEN AUTOPEN PROBE OVER?

The legacy media claimed this week that an investigation into the Biden administration’s use of the autopen is over.

CBS News claimed that U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro dropped the investigation because prosecutors couldn’t determine whether the Biden administration broke the law through its use of the presidential autopen.

But Pirro signaled on Thursday that the investigation remains ongoing.

“We cannot comment on ongoing investigations,” she said."
