Well, this has been an incredible year. Incredible as in "unbelievable". I agree with the long-winded article posted on page 1 of this thread, that draws the conclusion: Trump is consistent. We've never seen that before. How the hell do we deal with someone as "bullheaded" as keeping all his promises? I must say I'm flabbergasted by what Trump has accomplished. No other president, I believe, has ever achieved such truly great things in so many different areas in his first year, or in the first year of his second term. The military has been redirected from stupid shit to being lethal and precise warfighters. Even better: plans are being laid to make the entire Department of War(!!!) more agile, more efficient, more lethal against various potential and real adversaries. Bombing the Iranian nuclear facilities--holy shit what balls! Swooping in and grabbing Maduro--same thing. Tariffs and deregulation to reboot the US economy--now at GDP growth levels that were considered literally impossible before Trump. Turning the tables on Big Pharma so we no longer play sugar daddy to all the countries of Europe--hell, yeah! And his cabinet (with a couple of exceptions--cough Kristi Noem cough Pam Bondi cough--are tough, brilliant, articulate, and superb spokesmen always for what the President wants. Bessent was mentioned. Oh yes, bulldog. But same with Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, Chris Wright, Howard Lutnick, Doug Burgum, and yes RFK Jr. I had reservations about him, but the appointments to head NIH, FDA and CMS/Medicare (Dr. Oz) have been superb. We're still waiting on SCOTUS to resolve some important issues in DJT's favor; but by golly his administration is now on the RIGHT side of most every issue. And BIG issues like anchor babies, firing administrative bureaucratic slugs. I no longer worry about Trump's hyperbole, seeing it as part of his tactical armamentarium. What's Trump's overall goal? Well, it's MAGA of course. But beyond that it's saving Western Civilization from committing cultural suicide. He has woken up the stupid, arrogant Europeans. Rutte of NATO has let them know the truth: if they try to defend themselves without the US, they will be spending 10% of their GDP on defense, not 5%. They will need their own nuclear weapons--and they still will not be getting the benefits of the US nuclear umbrella. Davos was just an amazing thing. Not to be blasphemous, I hope, but it reminded me of Jesus overturning the tables of the moneylenders in the Temple. Righteous anger, directed at people who are too cowardly to face their real enemies. Now it's up to us to make sure Congress stays Republican and even more MAGA than it has been; which is to say, not nearly supportive enough of Trump's agenda. Hey, I didn't even mention China. Trump has put countering China's power as a top priority. Onshoring manufacturing, especially for critical materials like rare earths and drug components; Having TSMC build fabs in the US; increasing the defense--sorry, War Department--budget and starting a shipbuilding program...the list goes on and on. Meanwhile China's population growth rate is the lowest anywhere; there is concern about sending their "only sons" off to war; the top generals have been canned (maybe they were plotting a coup, maybe not; maybe they were selling nuclear secrets to the US, maybe not), and the current atmosphere in the PLA must be one of chaos and uncertainty. The population, best I can tell, must be demoralized by all this. China now appears weaker than at any time since Nixon went to China. Probably an exaggeration, for sure I'm not an expert. But still... _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

Nice write up sjtill, very well done and this has been a statement I make constantly to folks and here back in his first term, and again in this one. We have to show up, and at Presidential election numbers to help him in mid terms or it's impeach, impeach, impeach..... And the current spending bill passage shows we cannot trust the entire R wing of congress to keep pushing MAGA. We need MN to be de-escalated, the focus changed from picking up illegals to arresting political leaders involved in the theft of billions. That and exposing the real money people and arresting them behind the violence. Once they are gone, picking up illegals will be quite different

Trump posted this today on Truth Social, video in the link. O'Reilly is correct regarding this guy Neville Singham. He is likely funding much of the agitator activities in MN. https://truthsocial.com/@realD...s/115978004079083638 "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

Trump Admin Sues Woman for $941,000 for Failing to Self-Deport The federal government revived a policy that imposes fines on those ordered deported who fail to leave. The Trump administration is suing an illegal immigrant to collect close to $1 million in fines for remaining in the country after a deportation order was issued against her. The federal government alleges that Marta Alicia Ramirez Veliz of Chesterfield County, Virginia, failed to leave the United States after an appeals board ruled against her in 2022. The government said that as of April 2025, Veliz owed $941,114 in fines plus interest. Veliz is being sued under a federal law that has been on the books since 1996 that allows civil penalties for illegal immigrants who deliberately fail to leave the country as ordered. In President Donald Trump’s first term, the federal government began assessing fines under the long-unenforced law but did not file lawsuits to collect them. President Joe Biden’s administration stopped assessing fines altogether. The Trump administration revived the fine policy after the president issued Executive Order 14159 in January 2025, which authorized immigration officials to reinstitute the practice of assessing financial penalties under the law. In June 2025, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued new regulations making it easier to issue fines. DHS said that as of June 2025 it had sent more than 9,000 fine notices to illegal immigrants for a total of nearly $3 billion. The legal complaint filed against Veliz on Jan. 23 in federal district court in Richmond, Virginia, states the government is suing “to collect a civil penalty imposed by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Veliz for willfully failing or refusing to leave the United States pursuant to a final order of removal.” Federal Judge Cancels Contempt Hearing for ICE Chief After Agency Releases Detainee An immigration judge issued a removal order against Veliz in July 2019, which became final after the Board of Immigration Appeals dismissed her appeal in September 2022. The civil penalty for remaining in the United States after a removal order has become final is $998 for each day the person subject to the order remains in the country, according to the complaint. The Trump administration encourages illegal immigrants to “self-deport,” meaning they voluntarily leave the United States on their own. DHS said last year that civil fines or penalties for illegal immigrants would be forgiven for those who self-deport through the CPB Home App, which is available for smartphones. “By self-deporting, illegal aliens take control of their departure and may preserve the opportunity to come back to the U.S. the right and legal way in the future,” the agency said in a statement. The government served a notice of intention to fine on Veliz in April 2025, but she did not appeal the notice, and a final order imposing the penalty took effect in June 2025, the complaint said. The complaint does not disclose personally identifying information for Veliz such as nationality, age, or address. Veliz does not appear to have legal representation. Efforts by The Epoch Times to contact her were unsuccessful. A group called Public Justice filed a proposed class action lawsuit in November 2025 challenging the imposition of the fines on illegal immigrants who fail to leave the country after being ordered to do so. In a class action, a plaintiff sues on behalf of a larger group of people who claim to have suffered the same injury at the hands of a defendant. Federal and state rules govern whether a class action gets certified and is allowed to proceed. The lawsuit was filed in federal district court in Massachusetts. The plaintiffs are “hardworking individuals facing significant personal hardships who, like millions in this country, have been navigating the U.S. immigration system.” ICE has fined them “exorbitantly,” sending notices advising them they owe large fines that run from hundreds of thousands of dollars to approximately $1.8 million, the legal complaint said. The large fines were imposed without the government considering whether they were appropriate in an individual case, and under regulations that were issued without the legally required public input, the complaint said. The complaint said the fines will drive the plaintiffs and thousands of other people residing in the United States into “ruinous debt, in violation of the U.S. Constitution, the Immigration and Nationality Act, and the Administrative Procedure Act.” The Administrative Procedure Act is a 1946 federal statute that governs administrative law procedures for federal executive departments and independent agencies. The late Sen. Pat McCarran (D-Nev.) said the law was “a bill of rights for the hundreds of thousands of Americans whose affairs are controlled or regulated in one way or another by agencies of the federal government.” On Jan. 26, the Veliz lawsuit was assigned to U.S. District Judge Roderick C. Young. https://www.theepochtimes.com/...ion-2&loginSuccess=1 _________________________

We are less than a year away from midterms and despite overwhelming evidence of the 2020 steal there have been zero indictments. While I appreciate Bondi is collecting records in Georgia she should have been doing this the moment she took office and at hundreds of locations where the Dems hacked machines and stuffed ballots. If the Dems win seats it's because they were emboldened to cheat again by the lack of action and we have only ourselves to blame.

“Kevin Warsh will serve as the next chair of the Federal Reserve. President Donald Trump made the announcement early Friday morning in a highly anticipated move to succeed Jerome Powell. In a Truth Social post announcing the decision, the president listed Warsh's credentials for the role, including his five-year stint serving as a Member of the Board of Governors at the Federal Reserve from 2006 until 2011. Powell's term ends on May 15, 2026, and he has two more policy meetings left as part of his tenure in the role after the one held this week. …” DailyMail article: https://mol.im/a/15512827 Serious about crackers.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/...2F1VK9VoSk%2BIPaw%3D These Companies Have Pledged to Boost Newborns’ $1,000 Trump Accounts A single $1,000 deposit into a baby’s Trump Account could potentially grow to half a million dollars by the time the child reaches retirement age. Newborn babies could get an extra boost into their Trump Account from private companies. The federally funded pilot program, created by President Donald Trump, will donate $1,000 into savings accounts for eligible American babies born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028. A number of private companies have pledged to sweeten the pot for kids across America. Here’s a look at how your child might be able to benefit. Contribution Match A long list of companies said they will match their employees’ contributions to the accounts. They include Uber, Chipotle, Comcast, Coinbase, Steak ‘n Shake, Charles Schwab, and BlackRock. “The President foresees a day where matching contributions to Trump Accounts will be as integral to an employee benefits package as a matching 401(k),” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Jan. 28. Families can deposit up to $5,000 into their child’s Trump Account each year, but the money cannot be withdrawn until the child is 18. “Keeping accounts locked until age 18 will require Americans to learn the art of long-term savings and compound growth,” Bessent said. Each account, with no additional contribution, is expected to be worth around $6,000 by the time a child is 18, and it could be worth even more if money is invested by families or companies along the way, according to data provided by the Trump administration. Adding $5,000 a year, for example, could bring the total to $271,000. At age 18, the account holder will have the option to withdraw money, without penalty, to buy a home, go to college, or start a business. A single $1,000 deposit into a Trump Account at birth should grow to an estimated amount of at least half a million dollars by the age of retirement. Dell’s Donation Philanthropists Michael and Susan Dell said they will donate an additional $250 into accounts for 25 million kids growing up in low and middle-income households. “The first 25 million American children age 10 and under living in ZIP codes with median incomes below $150,000 will receive an additional $250,” according to a White House announcement in December. Their charitable commitment amounts to $6.25 billion. Dell is the chairman and CEO of his computer corporation “Dell Technologies,” which was founded in February 1984, when he was 19 years old. Connecticut Billionaire hedge fund manager Ray Dalio and his wife, Barbara, pledged $75 million to fund Trump Accounts for more than 300,000 children in Connecticut. Each child will receive an additional $250 contribution to their account. “By providing children with savings accounts that compound over time, we are providing them with early insights into financial literacy and a path towards financial independence,” Dalio wrote in an X post in December. Rewards Points Visa announced it will let users deposit their cash back rewards directly into their Trump Accounts. “That’s a big deal,” Trump said during a speech at a Treasury event held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium. Trump added that the credit card company will make an entirely new platform to allow parents to easily transfer funds into their children’s accounts.

So when they turn 18 they will have access to a fairly large sum of money. I'm sure 95% of these youngsters will use it for collage or to buy a house. At least they will spend it back into the economy.
