WE are the the sow; they are the little sucklings.
Every one of them should be on trial, D' and R's.
They are not representing the people, they are only in it for themselves.

Think it's still that way with committee appointments, heads of said committees, leaders of the party, and if you want in that level of the party you better know the game and play it. D seem to be quite organized at that level, you don't see many dissenters within the ranks although the super socialist sect seems to be a break away in the party that is trying to grow and get a power position taking it over.

It's a concern once Trump leaves office, who's going to fund the campaigns of Rubio, DeSantis, Vance, they don't have Trump Money. Would love to see Eric Trump create a bunch of large PAC's that would fund one of them eliminating the outside influencer funding that causes candidates to make decisions on who's paying the bills vs the people...

Me too, and one of the Usual Suspects is already attempting to create a “mid-term election interference” narrative.

Perhaps he'll expose it, Fox News will properly report it, CNN will poopoo it, and the DOJ refer it to the house committee on Elections or whatever it's called...

More winning. I was living in Utah when Clinton stole essentially a whole state of land from the people of Utah.
This is a win for Utah and for the whole nation. There is no doubt he is changing this country for the better.

I recall that when Clinton established the Grand Staircase-Escalante NM that the move was so well received in Utah that the dedication ceremony was held in Grand Canyon NP—in Arizona.

Good Memory TMats. That is exactly what happened...he did not have even the common decency to do it in the place most affected. It was essentially a big F you to the conservative citizens of Utah.

I also remember Robert Redford (Who lives at Sundance) scolding the state for putting up a stink about it. Yet, he seemed fine with cutting apart a whole frikkin mountain to put up his damn overpriced ski resort.

Leavitt Says Trump Election Speech on Thursday ‘Will Shock You’

Earlier this week, Trump said that the address will concern voter integrity and related matters.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Thursday said that President Donald Trump’s speech tonight on the integrity of U.S. elections “will shock you.”

Leavitt said she believes media outlets have “refused to acknowledge that tens of millions of Americans across the country share the concerns of this president about the sanctity of our elections.”

The findings that Trump is “going to reveal in this speech … will shock you if you have an honest eye,” the press secretary said, without going further into details about what the speech might entail.

“Everything he is saying will be backed up by facts and by evidence,” Leavitt added.

The United States “should have the safest and most secure elections in the history of the world,” Leavitt also remarked. “And what the president will be speaking about tonight will show you that perhaps that is not the case, and we need to make some adjustments moving forward,” including passing the SAVE America Act.

Leavitt also was critical of news outlets “reporting and misreporting about what the president will say” in the address and cautioned people to not “jump ahead to conclusions.”

Leavitt did not comment on the specific nature of his speech, which will be at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday. Earlier this week, Trump said that the address will concern voter integrity and related matters, but did not delve deeper than that.
“Our country has to shape up,” the president said in the Oval Office on Tuesday as he met with Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi. “Without free and fair elections, you don’t have a country.”

Also Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) told reporters he didn’t know what Trump was going to speak about and that Republicans “are focused on the 2026 election.”

The SAVE America Act, or Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, is an election security measure backed by Trump that would mandate that individuals provide proof of U.S. citizenship, including a passport, birth certificate, or REAL ID.

It would also mandate strict photo ID requirements at polls, include more rules around absentee voting, require states to actively verify the citizenship of voters, and other changes. The GOP-backed measure was passed in the House earlier this week s part of a funding package, although it has stalled in the Senate despite Republicans having a majority.

For months, Trump has pushed for the bill to be passed, but Thune on several occasions has publicly said he doesn’t have the votes to pass the measure or remove the Senate’s legislative filibuster rule.

Aside from the SAVE America Act push, Trump has signed multiple executive orders on election-related matters that have met with resistance in the courts. In June, a federal judge ruled that Trump cannot enforce part of an order that requires proof of citizenship to vote in elections.
Judge Denise J. Casper of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, in part, wrote that the Constitution does not grant the president “any specific powers over elections.”

For years, Trump has said that the 2020 presidential election was rigged in favor of his opponent, Democrat Joe Biden. In the immediate aftermath of that contest, his legal team filed multiple lawsuits against states where his campaign said election fraud occurred.

President Trump Reveals What We All Suspected About the 2020 Election in Primetime Address

This speech was kept close to the vest, and now President Trump has revealed what the “really big news” was, teasing it earlier this week. Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-OH), who glanced at a copy, said it was the most important address since the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The president started his much-anticipated address by saying we are safer, stronger, and wealthier than ever before. We overtook a nation in disrepair, including battling the worst inflation in 48 years, men in women’s sports, and being laughed at around the world. We were considered a dead nation, but now economic investment is soaring, more Americans are working than ever before, and inflation experienced its largest monthly decline in six years.

The president then elaborated on Trump accounts, border security, and rebuilding our military. Trump said we’ll be seeing the “fruits of that labor” in Iran shortly.

Trust in the country leads to greatness, and our elections play a big role in that.

The system we have falls catastrophically short of that standard. Trump announced a massive declassification of documents showing how exposed our election system is to hacking and foreign interference. Top White House aides and intelligence agency chiefs have all reviewed and authenticated the documents.

The documents highlight major areas of concern. Starting in 2020, Beijing carried out the largest-ever compromise of election data. Some 220 million American voters' files were meddled with by Chinese intelligence services. China signed a data exploitation unit for this project.

Members of the Deep State within the IC worked to suppress and downplay the scope and impact of China’s election interference. U.S. spy agencies discovered that the voter data breach in 18 states was bought, stolen, or hacked by China. That breach was kept hidden; Trump, who was still president at the time, was not informed, nor was Congress. The line was that the 2020 election was the most secure in history.

Trump Says China Illicitly Obtained 220 Million US Voter Files Since 2020 Election

China carried out what is believed to be the ‘largest compromise of election data in history,’ the president said in a primetime address.

WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump, in a primetime address on July 16, announced the declassification of information that he said reveals large-scale Chinese hacking of American voter information.

“Over a period of years, starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People’s Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history,” he said, adding that tens of millions of Americans’ voter files were “bought, stolen, or hacked by China.”

All told, China acquired 220 million U.S. voter files, according to the president.

An accompanying transparency report from the White House stated that China gained access to voter roll data across 18 states.

Trump further said that members of the intelligence community sought to suppress data on China’s influence on American elections.

In addition, Trump detailed the findings of an investigation from the Department of Homeland Security that he said showed that 278,000 noncitizens registered on American voter rolls.

“These disclosures reveal an election system so broken and so vulnerable that no one can possibly defend it. It is not defensible,” Trump said.

The president outlined the declassification and release of multiple groups of documents, including assessments he said reveal “a cyber threat aimed at the very heart of our democracy”—vulnerabilities in election databases and other systems, including electronic voting machines.

Citing reporting from the CIA, the president outlined what he described as a multi-year influence campaign by China during his first term aimed at American companies and journalists.

The president said intelligence reports outlining Chinese influence operations directed at the election were withheld from daily presidential briefings during his first term.

He said he was instructing the Justice Department, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and other top officials “to investigate how and why such crucial information was hidden, to fire those involved in the cover-up, and to file criminal charges if appropriate against these people.”
