One of the twins, 9 years old, got caught holding hands and cuddling with a boy at school this week. She’s on punishment as she knows school is for learning and nothing else. But, her sister, also 9 So Monday I get to go talk to the principal and let him know that I shouldn’t be dealing with this shit. And I can’t say what I want to say or I’d certainly wind up on the news or on some ban list with the district. Two weeks ago a teacher called to let me know my youngest was, “accidentally” kicked in the face. “How does someone accidentally get kicked in the face?”. I’m so tired of this ignorance. She’s been kicked, punched, had scissors and a chair thrown at her. But let me express my concerns the way I want and I’ll be overreacting for sure. Enough of that. Been on leave all week. I’m done pushing divisions. Checked into my new job last Friday. My Boss, a Senior Chief, in a 1 of 1 position wont be back for 3 more weeks told me to do my best but also rest and relax on my “off” year. We call it RTP, your break year in between your two years of absolutely horrible hours. So I’m pretty happy about relaxing for the next… well I don’t know. Got my Space Force package submitted and I’ll hear about that in January. Looking forward to it to be honest, will most likely put me in Colorado until I retire. My youngest has been hanging out with me all week since I’ve been off. We’re winding down for the night. She’s playing Roblox while I search 3D prints and watch a movie. My “favorite daughter” has been up my ass all week. She knows when I put on my uniform I’m leaving. Her whole demeanor changes. So this week being home she’s been glued to my legs. We laid on the floor for more than an hour today and just snuggled. Called her to sleep with me on the couch tonight and she didn’t even bother with pets. I don’t ever recall that happening, she instantly turned around, laid down, and instantly went to sleep. I think I just inconvenienced her tonight. All in all things are good, but man I get rid of one stress and take on another. 7.5 more years and I’m down to 1 kid, hopefully my Jelly girl still, and retirement full of building a cabin, fishing, hunting, shooting, and relaxing. Trying to plan for Christmas back home this year. Should be a good time. Will be the first holidays I actually have off in 12 years. Sorry for the long post. Maybe I just like talking to yall! Eight years to retirement! Just waiting! | ||

Nice. What did you get for your hold job? I was at night of arrival for mine. I was skeptical when the coordinator told me he was hooking me up, but it turned out he was. Hopefully the move will bring an improvement for your children also. That school bears surveillance. "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye".
