I haven't really noticed, partly because I dialed way back on my beer drinking a couple years ago, part of an overall decision to decrease carb intake. Before, I'd typically have 1 or 2 beers after getting home from work or with dinner most nights. Now, I might have 1 or 2 beers in an entire week, and some weeks it's none.

I've also always bought "expensive" beer, typically higher quality German beers: Hoffbrau, Ayinger, Weihenstephaner, Paulaner, etc. I'd rather have 1 really good beer than a 6-pack of middling beer or a suitcase of crappy beer. I suspect the price increase may be more pronounced/noticeable on the cheaper beers.

That's exactly what I do. Drink my Octoberfest stockpile in the later Summer, Fall, and early Winter, and buy Hefeweizens the rest of the year, with the occasional other style of beer thrown in for variety, like a Belgian Wit or a nice citrusy non-bitter IPA.
