A few years back, I gave that book to my mother for Christmas. I wrote inside to let her know how much I appreciated the sacrifices that she made for my brother and I.

She passed away last year. That book will always hold a special place in my heart.

Wow, talk about going back in time! The covers of both Where the Sidewalk Ends and A Light in the Attic are burned into my memory from elementary school.

I think I'll buy a copy for my 2 boys, 8 & 9 to read.
