Skywatchers and stargazers might see something new among the stars, planets and galaxies.

Two NASA astronauts, Jasmin Moghbeli and Loral O’Hara, were conducting the first all-female spacewalk outside the International Space Station (ISS) on Nov. 2 when a tool bag slipped, according to Space.com.

Moghbeli and O’Hara finished their spacewalk after six hours and 42 minutes, NASA said. One of their main objectives was to do maintenance on the ISS, working on the station’s solar arrays which track the sun and generate electricity to power the station.

Thankfully, the tools weren’t needed for the rest of the tasks.

“Mission Control analyzed the bag’s trajectory and determined that risk of recontacting the station is low and that the onboard crew and space station are safe with no action required,” NASA said.

The tool bag is now “inadvertently lost,” the space agency said on its official blog, and flight controllers were able to spot the bag using external station cameras.

If they are like my wife, the only tools they would need are a butter knife and a pair of pliers.

Like the tool bag, these two are slightly less bright than Uranus.

So, which one gets the statement of charges for the lost tools?

The only tool bag they should be allowed to carry contains Lancôme, ESTÉE LAUDER and Revlon stuff.

Oh, and a mayo spreader. Lol.

Eh, during STS-88 (Shuttle mission when they assembled to first two segments of ISS) Ross & Newman lost a bunch of tools. Other astronauts that had done EVA's ragged on Jerry about that for years. They'd see him in his office, drop something on the floor and exclaim "Oh shit I Rossed it!"

Exactly! If these items, and their cell phone were in that bag, no way was it getting lost!
