I'm a "no, never" guy. Summer or winter, I sleep only in boxer shorts.

I’ve got the coldest feet - I’m talking colder than room temperature! Even so, I don’t wear socks to bed. I like a clean bed, and I won’t even sit on my bed if I sat somewhere in public. I know I can put clean ones on that haven’t touched the floor, but I just don’t like the feel.

My feet have to be seriously cracked. Painfully split along dried calluses and such. Limping-in-pain damage. Before I'll smear on the goo and cover them with socks.

My feet are my heat exchangers at night and require breathing room. I couldn’t stand to wear socks and, unless it’s 40 degrees F or below in the room or tent, the feet go outside any comforter, blanket or bedsheet.
The private parts are an entirely different matter Cool

Yes, every night. I have peripheral neuropathy and socks on at night are a must.

I used to in the winter. Now, the 21 lb Maine Coon cat has decided he likes to sleep on top of the bed, snuggled up to my feet. Sort of like a hot water bottle, but much bigger.

My feet are freedom seekers....no socks in bed ever. No heavy blankets on my feet either. I often peel back the comforter at the foot area. Though one day when I get older that could change.

Nope.
I did briefly in college. The house we lived in had no central a/c nor heat, and we were too broke to have the propane filled.
So, we got by with electric space heaters & layered up to sleep. Flannel pajamas, socks, 2-3 blankets & a heated mattress pad.

There were spots where you could see the ground through the floor Eek
Lowest we saw on the display on the space heater was 42* inside the house.

Well... sure.

I don't. But my wife wears socks to bed in the winter... and I'm glad she does!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Yes and no.

At night, no. I sleep in my birthday suit and body heat warms things up enough that I don't need them.

In the Winter, for my daily nap, yes. For naps I'm in a tee shirt and skivvies and that apparently reduces heat transfer to the sheets/blankets enough that my feet get cold, so I leave my socks on too.

No never.
Years ago when I was an active firefighter we had a 3am structure fire call. I put my turnout pants on that had boots through the cuffs of the pants. This was when they were first issued to us, before that we had pull up boots.
It was winter, the big mistake I made was not putting socks on. My feet were raw by the time we got back to the firehouse.
From that point there were always socks on my boots to put on.
Some of the other firefighters always wore socks to bed just for this reason.
