100%. Born and raised in northern Ohio. However LA (Lower Akron) does have a large number of WV transplants and my Dad was born in WV but his Mom and Dad moved to Cincy when he was 2 years old.

I've stopped counting.

Just the other day I said “spigot” and my wife looked at me funny, mentioned my Appalachian upbringing, and asked why I didn’t say “faucet” instead. I said “Look here, vieille femme, there’ll be no French talking around here!”

Scored 100% without even worrying about any answers. Saying lightening (or lite-nin’) bugs seems perfectly natural to me, but I had totally forgotten about them. We don’t have them in UT.

I’m from farm country Nova Scotia and I scored 100 as well. I wonder if it was data mining my phone while I was taking the test.

I got 100% but I grew up on Long Island. Seems I also watched every western as a kid. I still say, "I reckon."

Got a hundred first time out - same as everybody else.
Then I cleared my cache and took it again, intentionally answering wrong on every one.

Didn't get a score, but it told me I could have done better.
Surprised that it didn't add 'Bless your heart' at the end...

Yinz hillbillies ain't got nuthin' on us Pittsburgh folks. Just the other day my girlfriend asked, jeet jet? I told her no, I was watching the Stillers and we could grab something later. She told me she didn't feel like getting ready to go out so she ran to the Giant Iggle to pick up some jumbo and chip-chop ham for hoagie sammiches. I told her to grab some pop n'at too. When she got home she was pissed. First, some jagoff ran into her with a buggy at the store. Because her foot hurt, she decided to walk through the yard which was slippy from the crick overflowing. This caused her to fall straight into a jagger bush. Of course, the nebby neighbor saw the whole thing. At this point, I told her to just get ready to go out and I would redd-up a bit. So we went dahntahn to The Strip and got Primanti's and a couple of ahrns.

Ditto. Born and raised in CA. Used a miner's poke (his sack of gold) to get that one. The rest were obvious.

Then I had the wife take it. She had 3 answers different than mine - but she got a 100% too.

I was wondering about that...

Not so. I re-took the quiz and answered what I thought was a wrong answer to each question. My result was "You could do better".

I guess there's a whole lot of leeway because I purposely missed 4-5 questions and still got 100% Appalachian.

Yeah but, how many of yinz guys could have understood if the test was verbally administered by a real live Hillbilly. When I was still working, I was the only one in the whole Commercial Vehicle Safety unit that was fluent in Appalachian English.
I'm still not sure if that is something to be proud of.
