Congratulations! Beautiful car. I've always loved Corvettes, but now that I can afford one, I'd probably hurt myself just getting in & out of the darn thing.

In 11 years that car will be a candidate for the scrap yard. Because GM won't be at all interested in keeping spare parts for it available past the mandated 10 years and some unfindable electronic bit of hardware critical to function will go toes up. The only Corvettes that I would ever consider purchasing is those with breaker points and carburetors.
I've stopped counting.

Yes, because the Corvette has absolutely no aftermarket support with multiple manufacturers building replacement parts for a car that no one likes...

Maybe you would trade it in before 10 years.
The old ones I had were easy to work on..66, 69, and 78. I still have the 78 with a Doug Nash 5-speed transmission. They even had trailer hitches.
I like the blue color and styling. Congratulations

I was visiting by buddy in the Florida Keys who has owned 8 Vettes. His keys house is for sale and he says when it sells he'll look to buy a C2 because he's tired of depreciation. A couple of days later he says he won't wait until his house sells and heads to the Mecum auction in Kissimmee. He bid high on one and lost. Then he went through the buying process on two more and after flying a corvette expert who concluded they were faked.
He found a C8 sitting on a showroom in NY, ordered and when it arrived the buyer couldn't afford it. Just like yours, except silver gray. It was shipped to Missouri where he'll keep it at his Lake of the Ozarks summer condo. Been here a month, he'll finally see it in a couple of weeks. He's fired up!
