Thank you, Mr. Allen, for the Churchill quote. That may just get printed and pinned to my corkboard.
There is a story behind it, too long to cut and paste here. Summary... he suffered a dislocated shoulder as a young man that plagued him the rest of his life. Because of it, at the cavalry battle of Omdurman in 1898, he was forced to use a Mauser pistol rather than the more traditional sword. He says had he been able to use a sword, his story might not have got so far as the telling.
Here’s another Churchill quote which may provide relief:
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
Here’s another:
“If you're going through hell, keep going.”

muzzleloaderI measure them in sutures. 15 across the pad of my thumb from a table saw I removed the blade guard from. Just glad I still have it.

1.21 gigawatts and a DeLorean. Bring 'em. NOW.
Irrelevant. You'd go back and fix those mistakes but make more along the way.
You are exactly where you need to be.
I believe if I could go back and fix Event1, I'd be far happier dealing with any mistakes I made afterward.
