I don't know why, but the normal citizens in Iran, whatever that means in that context, don't seem to ever want to rock the boat or test the waters for a change in govt. Either that or our media is so inept and corrupt I need to find a better source for hard news. My guess is they will continue to choose to suffer, and eventually rebuild to terrorize Israel and the west once again.

Not sure what to make of this projection of events for rest of the year but it was kind of interesting. If so, sounds like ISR will be in a decent position of strength. It went a little fast for me so I didn't comprehend it all. But the gist seems like new treaties, new accords, new allies.

IDF says it killed Iran's top military commander after previously taking out his predecessor

The Israeli Defense Forces said it killed Iran's War-Time Chief of Staff, who was the government's top military commander, in a strike against Tehran.

Ali Shadmani, who was the closest figure to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, was killed on Tuesday when the Israeli Air Force struck a staffed command center in the heart of Tehran, the IDF said.

Shadmani served as War-Time Chief of Staff and Commander of the Emergency Command of the Iranian Armed Forces, according to the IDF. He also commanded Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Iranian army.

"At the start of the operation, he was appointed to command the Iranian Armed Forces after his predecessor, Alaa Ali Rashid, was eliminated in the opening strike of Operation 'Rising Lion,'" the IDF said.

Under Shadmani's command, the Khatam al-Anbiya emergency command center was responsible for managing combat operations and approving Iran's firepower plans, the IDF said.

The IDF added: "In his various roles, he directly influenced Iran’s operational plans targeting the State of Israel."

Before his predecessor's elimination, Shadmani served as deputy commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya and as head of the operations directorate in the General Staff forum of the Iranian Armed Forces.

"Shadmani's elimination adds to a series of eliminations of Iran’s most senior military leadership and degrades the chain of command of the Iranian armed forces," the IDF said.

Major cyberattack targets Iranian banks

https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/410162

Iranians are reporting that multiple branches of Iran’s Bank Sepah, which is linked to the Iranian military, were closed on Tuesday.

According to the reports, customers said they were unable to access their accounts.

“We went to the branch, and it was closed. We have no access to our account,” one customer told Iran International, a news outlet affiliated with the Iranian opposition.

The outlet reported widespread issues with debit cards from Ansar Bank and Kosar Bank, which are also tied to the military, with reports of failed transactions since the morning.

The “Gonjeshke Darande” (Predatory Sparrow) hacker group took responsibility for the attack and claimed to have "destroyed the entire data infrastructure of the the data of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Bank Sepah."

According to the group, “Bank Sepah was an institution that circumvented international sanctions and used the people of Iran’s money to finance the regime’s terrorist proxies, its ballistic missile program and its military nuclear program. This is what happens to institutions dedicated to maintaining the dictator’s terrorist fantasies."

There was no immediate comment from the banks or Iranian authorities on the reported outages.

Given the relative sizes of the buildings and vehicles parked on the road, those people are between 25 and 40 feet high, and the 'downed' F35 is arund double the size of a C5 Galaxy.

Nice try. but no coconut.

Tucker and Steve Bannon Respond to Israel’s War on Iran

https://tuckercarlson.com/tucker-show-steve-bannon

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Trump breaks from Gabbard on Iran nuke program

https://justthenews.com/nation..._campaign=newsletter

President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning appeared to break from his intelligence director on earlier claims that Iran wasn’t producing military weapons.

U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said in March, while speaking before a Senate intelligence briefing, that Iran wasn’t building a nuclear weapon.

However, as Trump was briefing reporters on Air Force One, returning home from the G7 summit in Canada, he said Iran was close to getting a nuclear weapon, contradicting Gabbard’s earlier claims.

“I don’t care what she said. They were very close to getting a nuke,” Trump told reporters.

In March, Gabbard said the intelligence community was assessing the nuclear situation in Iran.

“Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003,” Gabbard said.

Trump told reporters he was headed directly back to the White House and into its Situation Room to deal with the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, after the two countries entered a fifth day of fighting.

The White House has denied reports of trying to negotiate a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, while also quashing reports that the U.S. was entering the fight.

The article clarifies Gabbard said that in March, just as she was getting her feet on the ground, but I still cannot believe she made the statement that Iran hasn't been pursuing nukes since 2003. That is something an idiot Democrat would say.

I am a layman and I would not be naive enough to say that.

When the Primary source for "Iran wants nukes!" is a country that hides its own nuclear arsenal and wont join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, of which Iran is a member in good standing of, you should question that source.

Bull. Israel has never stated that they want to wipe Iran off the face of the earth. As usual, you’re way off base.

Trump Suggests Direct US Involvement in Israel–Iran War

“We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” Trump stated.

President Donald Trump hinted at direct U.S. involvement in the Israel–Iran war, called for the Iranian regime’s “unconditional surrender,” and threatened the life of Iran’s supreme leader.

In a series of messages of social media on June 16, Trump said “we now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender,” and stated that the United States knows “exactly where” Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is hiding—calling him an “easy target” but saying he would not be killed “at least not for now.”

“We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American made, conceived, and manufactured ’stuff.' Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA,” Trump wrote in one of the posts.

In a follow-up message, Trump said that they knew the exact location of Iran’s Supreme Leader and that eliminating him would be easy.
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there,” Trump wrote. “We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.”
A third message called for Iran’s unconditional surrender.
A request for clarification sent to the White House on whether Trump’s posts reflect direct U.S. military involvement in Iranian airspace—and imply possible escalation—was not immediately returned. In response to an inquiry, the Pentagon deferred to the White House.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

UN Watchdog Says Israeli Strikes Made ‘Direct Impacts’ on Underground Nuclear Site

The International Atomic Energy Agency said the centrifuge halls at Iran’s Natanz facility were hit.

Israeli airstrikes have damaged an underground Iranian nuclear facility, the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog said on June 17.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in a social media post on Tuesday that it believes that Israel’s initial aerial attacks on Iran’s Natanz enrichment site this past week struck the facility’s underground centrifuge halls.

“Based on continued analysis of high-resolution satellite imagery collected after Friday’s attacks, the IAEA has identified additional elements that indicate direct impacts on the underground enrichment halls at Natanz,” the IAEA said in a post on X.

The Natanz facility, about 130 miles southeast of Tehran, is protected by anti-aircraft batteries, fencing, and Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard. The IAEA had earlier said that Israeli strikes had destroyed an above-ground enrichment hall at Natanz and knocked out electrical equipment that powered the facility.

In its X post on Tuesday, the IAEA said that there was “no change to report” at the country’s Esfahan and Fordow nuclear sites.

Rafael Mariano Grossi, the head of the IAEA, said in a conference on Monday that U.N. inspectors will remain in Iran to inspect the facilities “as soon as safety conditions allow.”

But he warned that “military escalation threatens lives, increases the chance of a radiological release with serious consequences for people and the environment and delays indispensable work towards a diplomatic solution for the long-term assurance that Iran does not acquire a nuclear weapon.”

Radiation emitted inside the damaged Natanz facility can pose a significant danger if uranium is ingested or inhaled, he said, adding, “The level of radioactivity outside the Natanz site has remained unchanged and at normal levels, indicating no external radiological impact to the population or the environment from this event.”

Iran has long stressed that its nuclear enrichment sites are for civilian purposes only, denying assertions that the regime is attempting to build a nuclear weapon.

Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have said that Israel launched airstrikes on Iran because they had received intelligence that Iran was enriching uranium at levels to make nuclear weapons.

Israel has said its sweeping assault on Iran’s top military leaders, nuclear scientists, uranium enrichment sites, and ballistic missile program is necessary to prevent its adversary from getting any closer to building an atomic weapon. The strikes have killed at least 224 people in Iran, officials said.

Iran has retaliated by launching more than 370 missiles and hundreds of drones, killing 24 people in Israel, officials said. A new barrage of missiles was launched on Tuesday. Explosions could be heard in northern Israel, the Israeli military said.

On Monday evening, U.S. President Donald Trump said that he isn’t looking to broker a cease-fire between the two countries, telling reporters on Air Force One: “I’m not looking at a cease-fire. We’re looking at better than a cease-fire.”

Hours later, Trump wrote on Truth Social that he hadn’t reached out to Iran and called on Iran to come to the negotiating table.
