Is that a real finger she's waving around? Looks kinda rubbery to me. I've noticed over the years of watching this kind of rhetoric the the index finger plays an important part in reinforcing the message...

However, the 'Fickle Finger of Fate' intervenes, and seems to be way more 'pursuasive'.

Trump: Iran 'Wants to Talk,' but 'They Had 60 Days'

President Donald Trump declined to comment on how the U.S. might get involved in Israel's assault on Iran's nuclear program, but he did acknowledge Iran's renewed interest in talks Monday at the Group of 7 meeting in Canada.

"They'd like to talk, but they should have done that before," he told reporters before the G7 meeting began. "They had 60 days, and on the 61st day, I said, 'We don't have a deal.'

"They have to make a deal."

Trump declined to answer on "what would it take for the U.S. to get involved in this conflict militarily," saying, "I don't want to talk about that."

But he did admit Iran has to come to the table to talk about Trump's desire to end Iran's aspirations for obtaining nuclear weapons-grade uranium enrichment.

"It's painful for both parties, but I'd say Iran is not winning this war, and they should talk and they should talk immediately before it's too late," Trump said.

Trump might have brought Iran to be more interested in talks with his statements Sunday.

While he said his administration has not gotten involved in Israel's strikes on Iran's nuclear weapons program, he was not ruling out eventual involvement.

"We're not involved in it," Trump told ABC News on Sunday. "It's possible we could get involved, but we are not at this moment involved."

Trump added he is "open" to having Russian President Vladimir Putin serve as a middle man in nuclear deal talks with Iran, much akin to Trump serving as a middle man for Putin's peace talks amid his war with Ukraine.

"I would be open to it," Trump told ABC, adding that Putin "is ready."

"He called me about it. We had a long talk about it. We talked about this more than his situation. This is something I believe is going to get resolved."

I've said it before and I'll say it again- the Iranians are clowns, some of the most inept, suckass "fighters" Roll Eyes in the world.

Israel is stomping a mud hole in their ass, and now the Iranians want to "negotiate". If they were sincere, it wouldn't have been necessary for Israel to bomb the ever-loving shit out of these half-wit fools. The Iranian government and their zealotry has led the Iranian people to this.

The Iranian people had better seize the opportunity to depose their government and return to pre-1979 sanity, because their religious leaders are crazier than shithouse rats. If they don't remove their present government, Iranians are going to end up suffering even more than they are now. The Israelis are not fucking around.

Agreed. The Iranian people are sick of this shit and want western values.
I've mentioned before talking to Iranians in-game online and they start the conversation apologizing for their country's leaders. These people want to be free. But the theocracy is in the way.

Yeah, that's pretty ominous. There's only one thing I can think of that would necessitate the evacuation of an entire city and I can't imagine that that would happen.

Trump has also just left the G7 to return to DC. Are things about to hit the fan?

The President has left the G7 early to head back to DC. He has requested the National Security Council be ready in the Situation Room when he arrives.
