Boys are back on the field, parents are not allowed in. It's a start.

I used to believe this. I want to believe this... but I'm just not sure that it holds true. Maybe, when people have been deprived of enough freedom, perhaps they will see the stark change and appreciate what they had enough to choose it.

Conservative author, speaker, and talk show host, Dennis Prager, often points out that truth is not a Left wing value. He also points out that freedom and liberty are not values any longer, and younger generations have, largely, not been taught to value such...indeed, in the Bubble wrap safety thread, we find that safety and security are valued over freedom and liberty.

When I see news stories about the public calling snitch-narc lines to report neighbors, strangers, and business owners (including their own employers) violating various shut down orders, when I see the public willingly surrender much of the activities that define our lives so readily, when I see Americans so readily accept ever-growing ever-intrusive ever-more costly government as the status quo, I question whether freedom is a value anymore.

You don't know what you got, until it's gone...a lesson many (not all) Americans need to re-learn soon.

I can't make out anybody on the field, but I'll take your word for it...and that is awesome! Time to get fans in the stands.

Our commie governor in KY has lifted some restrictions, so we went out for lunch today. A 200 seat restaurant had 7 customers. Sad.

I think everyone is broke. Of all the people I know, none have actually gotten the unemployment checks they applied for, some as far back as March 15. It's terrible, if the government stopped these people from working, they should be liable for lost income.

Growing up in Chicago, Indiana was 30 minutes away. I went to college in Indiana as well. Beer in those days could not be sold on Sundays, so the grocery store would cover the beer with a bedsheet. Women were not allowed to drink at the bar, they had to sit is a booth.

On the positive side, their cigarettes and gasoline were always cheaper than Illinois and you could buy any pesticide you wanted.

Glad you had a nice time Brad. Today I think of Jim Nabors singing Back Home in Indiana. AttendedIndy my final year of college.

Governor Blackface here in Virginia told us going into the weekend that our "homework" was to acquire face masks with the clear implication, that on Tuesday he will announce that they will become mandatory, when in public, along with social distancing. Yesterday, he was photograped in Virginia Beach, mingling with us little people, no mask and standing shoulder to shoulder, talking with folks. Bright, he is not.

Brad, it’s nice to see a picture of you and your wife! I too hate this feeling of being trapped in our own house!

Since SHE has opened up the U.P. for business, I have done exactly what I have done in the last few months. 1)Not wear a mask. 2) Ordered take out food when needed. 3) Social distanced with friends and family as we see fit. 4) Grilled food at our camp.5) Put some miles on the Yamaha SxS. Been averaging 60+ miles every time we fire it up. Most trips have been with six machines or more... We all feel the same about her up here in the sticks...
