Anybody have any real recommendations on cheap DVD Amazon headrest dvd players? I presume most of the Amazon reviews are bots. I am looking at the $120ish two screen sets that bolt onto the seat headrest riser, one has the dvd player, the other is the slave monitor. They are all probably made in the same factory in China anyway, maybe I'm wrong.

So, I do a ton of shopping on Amazon. Like, pretty much anything I can't buy at Costco comes from Amazon. I would say that my natural review filtering algorithm is pretty good at this point.

This is the one I would buy:

https://www.amazon.com/FANGOR-...7X3T416J/ref=sr_1_5?

Reviews look mostly real, answered questions look mostly real, it's marked as an Amazon best seller, the brand has an Amazon storefront that sells other devices, and it's eligible for return and Amazon support (despite being sold, in this case, by a 3rd party seller).

That one was the first one I was looking at, then I found this that each screen has a player, but it can also be linked.

That would be handy as one kid may be in the 3rd row watching something else on battery.

This one adds HDMI input.

These things are crazy cheap. The little table top ones are now $50. I remember in undergrad in 2001 buying a nice used Panasonic one for $600 to watch dvds working the night shift on the radio for the campus cops and then selling it on eBay a couple years later for the same amount or only slightly less.

We have this one
NAVISKAUTO 10.5" Dual Screen Car DVD Player with HDMI Input, Support USB 1080P MP4 Video Playback, Built-in Rechargeable Battery https://a.co/d/2ceF8F4

Only complaint is the speakers suck but our kiddos use headphones so it does not matter. However that may not be the case for you.

I ended up ordering this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6...dt_b_product_details

Plus there was a $50 instant coupon. It arrives Saturday so I'll give an after-action report once I put it through its paces.
