I am in need of a front shock off a 2015-2017 Ford Expedition EL.
Just the plain Jane standard suspension no load leveling or continuous dampening.
If it is dead I don’t care.
I just need it to pull a few dimension from it. Mine is the daily school bus so I can’t have it down for long.
Having no luck around here or online.

I own a towing business with an impound yard and we move a lot of vehicles through it...

...not one of those on it now but there was!

I will keep an eye out and put a note up!

If you just need dimensions, go to a NAPA store and tell them what you need and they will help. Great customer service, at least in these parts.

Jim

Just because you can,
doesn't mean you should

If you can find the OE part number just do a search. Should be a common part.

Thanks for this link.
Found the whole assembly for a really cheap price. Be interesting to see how much they want for shipping. Hopefully not too much not make it worth my effort.

Though for the life of me I can’t figure out how to add an item to my cart.

Hopefully they are legit. I am going to call them Monday.

Same here. Already been there and have the available dimensions like body length, extended length, compressed length.
But I need the design/production specs which they don’t have available. They also don’t have any in stock for me to sit with a set of calipers and I am not going to ask them to have one brought in as I have no intention of buying it.
They are however special ordering just the lower spring perches so that will be helpful.

New parts are a plenty I am trying to find one for cheap as it will just be used for taking dimensions. Won’t actually be used on the truck.
