Spotted a Tesla "cybertruck" in the wild
today, parked in a handicapped spot. It had the ♿️ hang tag. Regular VA tags, not dealer tags.

I can attest that it is every bit as ugly in the flesh as it is in pictures, perhaps even more so.

I've recently seen one, too. It is unbelievably ugly.

I too saw one on 495 this weekend.

What struck me was how unbelievably similar it seems to the 1960's Star Trek shuttle craft. It looks like it was designed by a kid from the 1960's, and not a clever kid.

This thing is an EPIC FAIL.

They are neat and ugly at the same time, to me. Not a chance I would want or get one. I am seeing a few more on the roads near me but can't imagine what they cost vs. what they are selling for.

Saw one on the road. Certainly there is nothing else like it. Saw a photo of one polished up like an old plane. Looked a lot better.

I was really hoping this vehicle was in rough concept form when Elon presented it the first time. I just couldn’t believe it was even CLOSE to being marketable.

I have ZERO desire for an EV, but if forced, an EV truck may be the form I’d get one in. However, if these were one of the choices, it would be only considered in desperation. I just don’t get their appeal in the least!. More power to those who do.

Have seen one a few times here close to me. Saw it at a wrap shop, have not seen it since it got wrapped. I'm wondering if he did a clear PPF or a color. It's larger in size than I had expected.

They are very common--no surprise!--in Northern California. Ugly as sin, huge, impractical.

We saw one too, just this last weekend, ugly thing. I wasn’t impressed.

Saw one drive by slowly twice last week down my street. It was about 30 feet away. I was surprised how big it looked for some reason…. And also how little I disliked it.

Endeavor to persevere.

If your so inclined, watch TFL, The Fast Lane on YouTube. The cybertruck and a Cummins.
The cybertruck made it about 85 miles pulling a trailer. Barely made it to a charging station.
The Cummins fuel tank was barely off full. Cummins filled up in a couple minutes.
Cybertruck was hooked to the charger for the foreseeable future.

There's a couple around here. I've seen one, my buddy says he's seen one four times, maybe same one or maybe different ones. Someone was just mentioning their cousin was wrapping one green I believe.

One of my customers owns one and rents it out to tourists. He gave us a ride in it a couple of months ago. I can't figure out how to embed a youtube short, so here's a link...

Saw one here in our East Texas town this afternoon. My non car aficionado wife remarked that it gave off a DeLorean vibe with its stainless like finish.

Also I have recently seen an Ineos Grenadier a couple of times here as well.

^^^^^^^^^ Thanks!

Riding in it was a blast, honestly. Just as we were pulling out of the parking lot, he put on the theme music from the Tron movie (Daft Punk: Fall) to set the mood.

I was pretty impressed by the acceleration. Had me glued to my seat pretty firm.

Tony.

If you're goin' through hell, keep on going.
Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it.
You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

I finally saw one the other day pulling a fairly large lawn care enclosed trailer. They definitely make you look. I feel like one of the many car drawings I did as a 12 year old were stolen.

I have been seeing at least 1 a day in Houston traffic this week. Saw 1 yesterday with a bronze wrap and after market wheels and knobby tires. I think they look better with a wrap.

I have a few SIGs.
