Shortly after he announced he was entering into hospice care, we corresponded back and forth. A comment he made seems appropriate to post in this thread and reflects who he was. Anyway, Jim really wanted the forum’s members to really think about things or as he put it he posted articles and comments to “Get ‘em thinking“. He certainly was able to do that.

GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN (By Vince Gill)
I know your life
On earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain.
You weren't afraid to face the devil,
You were no stranger to the rain.
Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done.
Go to heaven a-shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son.
Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve.
I wish I could see the angels faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing.
Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done.
Go to heaven a-shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son.

If you're goin' through hell, keep on going.
Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it.
You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.
