I have a 7 year old Son and he had trouble sleeping in his room when he was about 4.
I started reading Bible verses to him, specifically Psalms 23:4: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
Faith may not be what people want to hear, but it worked for my Son.
