I don’t give a shit what his vehicle looked like coming down the road, I also don’t give a shit what work attire that dick was wearing. There is no excuse for for his actions and no excuse for his conduct. Almost 80 in a 40 zone? Fired and prosecuted is the only proper response. I expect he will be fired if he’s found guilty. If he will treat another officer that way how do you think he might conduct himself when dealing with the general public?

I wish I could say that I'm shocked by the Orlando cop's behavior but I'm not. 33 years in emergency services (EMS and Fire) and I can tell you without a doubt there are so many out there like him.

Respect to the sheriff that pulled him over, he's a rare breed.

Well absent some serious lawyering, OPD dude just shit canned a good career.

Funny thing is if he had just pulled over, been contrite and cooperative, he likely would have continued on with nothing more than a friendly roadside discussion.

Instead he EPICALLY failed the “Attitude Test” and now would be lucky to get hired as security at the local Target.

I particularly liked how he flashed his strobes as a “I’m one of you, leave me alone” signal

I had a local FWB PD officer passing traffic on the shoulder of the road a year or so ago. Not hauling ass, maybe 15 MPH. I knew he was trying to get to roll call for his shift.
I called in to the PD and the supervisor called me back. Didn't give a shit at all. If I did that I'd be pulled over in a heartbeat.

I'd like to be the Judge when that gets to the courtroom.

ME "plea Bargain, there won't be any plea bargain in this case, this will be decided by a Jury or in this Court Right now." Why, simple he was OFF DUTY and driving recklessly just because he was in a hurry to get to work. Then he ran from a County Sheriff, refused to stop for his citation and drove off. Mister, you are getting the Full Book thrown at you and I will see to it that your receive the maximum time in prison for your offenses.

I had a traffic cop that lived down the street from me some years ago . Residential neighborhood . Every time he passed down the street he was hauling ass . One day I was pulling out of my driveway and he flew by . I caught up to him and clocked his speed at 50 mph . When I got home I called the Traffic Division and asked for the Shift Supervisor . I told him that I clocked the old boy at 50 and he asked me how I did it .I said " I paced him in my own vehicle ." Game over .He told me he would take care of it , and apparently he did .

He turned himself in Friday to the Seminole County Jail and was released on $9,000 bond. Orlando police said Shaouni has been relieved of his duties pending the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office criminal investigation as well as Orlando police’s internal affairs investigation."

Thanks for the follow up. Some cops may think the deputy violated some unwritten bro-code, but the rest of us find the Orlando cop's reaction unforgiveable and inexplicable. He deserves to be fired and have his ability to be a cop removed.
