I’m asking for forgiveness in starting yet another VA lobby day thread. If you feel this is inappropriate, I respect your opinion.

I call VA my home state. Although I don’t live there currently, I feel very strongly about this, and have been following it for months. History, good or bad, could be made today. And it could have a domino effect on other states.

Stay strong VA. Be smart, be safe. Don’t fall into the baiting tactics of other groups.

Stick, did you live in VA in the mid-90’s? VA started a crime prevention program called Projext Exile. Basically, if you used a firearm in the commission of a crime, it was an automatic 5yrs added to your sentence. Going off the top of my head, it dropped firearm related crimes about 33%. Kind of ironic, on Martin Luther King day, VA has a governor who once wore “black face”, alongside someone dressed in a KKK costume, in a very public photo. Then they introduce legislation to basically disarm the state. When citizens protest, he calls a state of emergency. It’s my fear they are intentionally trying to escalate the situation.

Wow.....just checked out the Breitbart feed. Looks like a LOT of people, in and out of the cage. Even better, I saw a couple of rainbow Gadsden flags and people of all ethnicities. Hopefully enough where the MSM can't selectively edit (yeah, I know, pipe dream) and say this was about angry white guys.

I love it. That young reporter telling northam he is a absolute scum bag on the mic. If it walks the walk and talks the talk of a scum bag, it must be a scum bag. Complex as it may be, I wish the people of Virginia would go through the recall process. Send that commie packing.

Agreed but I also think the fact that the VA Gov can only serve a single term makes too many people think "He'll be gone soon", but in this case it's not "soon ENOUGH".

I'm sure with every Tom, Dick, and Harriet walking around with their phone streaming to everyone, Facetiming, etc, the cell data service is getting crushed.

I've seen it before at concerts / festivals unless the cell companies bring in some big trucks with more bandwidth. You'll have a signal but can't get through.
