I have always used Reems but my last unit has rusted out the heat chamber in only 11 years. I think it may be time to look at another brand. What say the forum.

Mine is American Standard, had it for about 8 or 9 years with no issues on it.

Have American Standard heat pump for the upstairs and had to replace the coil in the attic air handler because it was rusting out.

American Standard and Trane (related), and Lennox have served us well in public building use.

Trane, Lennox, Carrier, York. Pick one. They don't disappoint.

Thank you President Trump.

I like American Standard and Trane. Me and a few people I know have had horrible experiences with Rheem in the past 10-15 years, the units don't last at all if within 10 miles of the ocean and have many failures......

I'm a Carrier guy, if you don't need super high efficiency their Payne line is affordable.
It comes off the same assembly lines as the Carrier units.
